If AR is out more than a month, should the packers claim flynn off waivers? I think after tonight s game we saw that wallace sucks but Flynn has been cut from 3 teams in the past 2 months, so he sucks also.
whats TT and McCarthys next move?

Seriously? He is washed up. He couldn't even beat out Tuel in Buffalo. There's a reason he was cut by the Seahawks, the Raiders and now the Bills. It's not 2010 anymore....
I say why not? Can't be any worse than we saw tonight. He probably knows the system better than Wallace at this point. Plus, he really seemed to have camaraderie with Rogers when he was here. He did well under McCarhy's tutelage. I believe he flourished here for a reason, and can do it again.
Flynn probably washed up but definetely an upgrade to Wallace. Seneca cant even put zip on the ball.
Sign Flynn, put Finley on IR, if AR is gonna be out longer then also cut Wallace and bring up Tolzier from th PS. Flynn and Tolzier much better than only Wallace.
Makes sense but...... NO WAY TT DOES SOMETHING LIKE THIS,, jajajajaja
I think Flynn thrived in the system, and I think he can come back and be more serviceable than Wallace right now. Flynn is a systems QB, and while he may not be a world-beater, I bet he could have beaten the Bears tonight. Bring him in. We have nothing to lose by testing the waters and seeing what he's got left. Either that or let's see Tolzien.
My eyeballs will burn out if I have to watch Wallace again; I didn't like him in Seattle and I still can't figure out why TT went with him as our backup.
Could ANYONE be worse than Wallace?
I thought Wallace would show much better than he did.
both suck, but flynn knows the system and knows how to throw a pass at least, wallace totally sucks, looked terrible and has no arm, i guess its either flynn or try tolzien.
lets hope AR s injury is not that serious
I thought Wallace would show much better than he did.
Me too.
I was surprised at how bad he was.

Washed up..
BAAAHAHAHA
I saw Flynn's only start this year, for the Raiders versus the Swiss cheese Redskins defense. He was terrible. Arm looks shot, bad decisions, no intangibles.
I say stick with Wallace and Tolzien and RTFB.
Flynn had an elbow injury in 2012 with the Seahawks. He has little zip on the ball since then--watch him in the Raider game from a few weeks ago when he was cut a week or so later. He simply couldn't get the ball to receivers.
GBP1, if you watched Seattle at all when Wallace was there, this is what he looked like except that he had a stronger arm. He was known for his running, not his reading progressions or his presence on the field.
There have been reports that Flynn has an arm injury. The reports have been very vague about what the injury is or even if he has one.
Bring him in and at least check him out. We can do better than Wallace. Even if Rodgers is able to come back next week, we need somebody better behind him, period.
We definitely need someone that can throw the ball more than 8 yards downfield effectively. Hell I'd rather take a look at Tolzien at this point.
I would have imagined MM would have call ed a few running plays/roll outs/options for Wallace if there was another QB on the active roster. MM had to be conservative in that respect.
Also, I think it's completely understandable that Wallace was not sharp at all. He hasn't really gotten any reps and probably never dreamed of going in. He should be better with a week of practice. How better is TBD.
Seems like a real longshot for Flynn to come back and get his mojo back. worth a look if he clears waivers but Wallace gets the nod vs Philly.

I expected him to suck knowing he came in late and had few live bullet reps. I agree though was not quite expecting that level of suck. How ****ing slow was the ball to receiver from him. He was throwing whimpering wounded ducks.
I think the great Vince Young would have played much better than Senacayaya.
There is another QB out not playing that knows the Packers system. I am sure ESPN or someone else will suggest it. As for myself I think 30 lashes would be in order just for mentioning the possibility.
If it was not for the mess in Miami that ESPN love so much ESPN might of gone wall to wall with TOG stuff today.

Yea; Brohm is who I was thinking of, that is the ticket. Now Boris will not have to put a life time ban on me.
another possibility
Skip Bayless @RealSkipBayless
Vince Young would've won that game for the Packers
I think old Crippy is a good bet to also suggest TOG, opps I mean Brohm
Honestly, I would rather see Vince young than Wallace or Flynn. Few have mentioned BJ Coleman yet either (probably with good reason). The way they were running the ball I think Young would have been the best fit.
I will be serious here and state the obvious, for the Packers winning or Losing the game last night is immaterial compared to losing Rodgers. He is irreplaceable no one will come in a replace him, the Packers are built around him. We just have to hope Rodgers is not hurt that bad.

Young can at least scramble. Wallace is toast.
RE: Flynn It was an elbow last year and there have been rumblings that it hasn't truly healed. I think there was some comments that questions around his arm/elbow injury from last year is why GB passed on him earlier this year when he became available - before they signed Wallace.
I'd seriously give Tolzien a long look this week in practice. Wallace looked disinterested and he had no zip on the ball.
Let the Scott Tolzien era begin.

Or the immortal Thad Lewis

Wallace is the worst QB in football, bring back Harrell, at this point I'd take Paul Thompson
Wallace can at least emulate R/O QBs in practice. Who's Flynn going to emulate these days, Chad Pennington?

I can't stand Bayless. But after what I saw last night I'm not going to disagree with him. I'd have taken any of the Vikings trio in that game. Somebody that can physically throw a ball more than 30 yards, accurate or not, could have gotten some of those Bears out of the box. And Wallace isn't even mobile anymore.
I think I would take Christian Ponder over Wallace right now
Regarding Flynn, thought I read during the preseason or TC that he had a good case of tendinitus in his throwning arm back then. Also happened the year before in Seattle as well due to overworking it in TC/preseason. At least thats what I recall.
I'm thinking MM and TT go with Wallace and bring up Tolzien and those are the 2 they roll with until AR12 gets back.
Ponder. Seriously. That is all you got?
Anybody have Donovan McNabb's cell?
I hate saying this......but I agree with Bayless. I'd bring in VY and let him do his thing, even if it's not necessarily MM's offense. I just don't see how this team wins a game with Wallace, unless there is significant improvement with a week of practice as the starter.
I would take Ponder only because of MM and Clements. Those two could make Ponder a more-than-serviceable backup. Reality dictates I'd rather see Tolzien right now than Wallace.
