Based on what happened during the pre-season, I wouldn't get too comfortable as a QB back-up for the Packers. I got the feeling that TT was not going too mess around with anybody. If you got it, great. If you don't, movin' on.
Wilde reported this morning that the workout won't be until next week, and one "source" Jason talked to said Flynn's elbow is "really messed up" - like "needing Tommy John surgery" bad..
Geez, then we'd look like the Vikings or something.
Without Rodgers, we very well could.
13 titles vs zero. A young home grown roster with talent vs. a roster getting old on defense with a really shaky recent draft history. A team that's been a legitimate SB contender for the past 4 years (including a Lombardi trophy) that's currently $18 million under the cap vs. a team that's not a legitimate SB contender and in all kinds of disarray today that's cap pressed facing some high priced FA's this offseason.
Aaron Rodgers is still the QB for Green Bay. He's just gonna' miss a little time. Was his injury finally the tipping point when this team simply couldn't overcome all the injuries against inferior opponents they'd normally boat race? Maybe. We'll see.
But GB isn't remotely close, on any level, in any manner, in any argument, in any comparison similar to the dumpster fire known as the Minnesota Vikings.
BS....the Vikes are currently on a 1 game winning streak.....
Wtf?
Where's flight aware when you need it?

If that's true, then that's the reason he sucked in Seattle & Oakland. Those idiots in Seattle probably ruined him
Appears to be just due diligence on the part of TT. If his arm was OK he'd likely be on a roster.
IF, Flynn's elbow is okay he gets signed to back up Tolzien and Wallace goes to IR.
3 starting QBs in Green Bay since Wk 3-1992, 341 games, now they are on their 3rd starting QB in as many weeks. Hoping they don't draft some guy named Barty Smith next April.
Sign Flynn. Cut Wallace. Wallace doesn't add anything to the GBP. He should have at least attempted to play with the injury. He didn't.
The good news from Wallace's injury is that I think they might have their backup QB with Tolzien.
Like this.
Guy over Flynn's right shoulder looks like he is about to hold-up a bank.
stand your ground
Reportedly, the "other" player in the Packers gear (in the back not in the hoodie) is Jamaal Johnson-Webb - OT.
Good thing he's holding the can of Miller Lite in his left hand, wouldn't want to put any more strain on that right elbow or shoulder.
He will no doubt be on crutches by next week......

Or his balls just need adjustment.
Good thing he's holding the can of Miller Lite in his left hand...
Sponsor, right? Official beer of the GB Packers.
Flynn gets out of the car in the players lot and he instantly needs someone to help him into Lambeau.
Got writer's cramp signing the visitor's log.
Where's his wife?
Enjoying Austin, TX.
Good thing they snapped a pic while he's still upright...
The workout consists of walking from one end of Lambeau Field to the other. If he can make it across the field without getting injured he's ready.
If he needed surgery, would that be on Flynn? Can a team sign him to a minimal contract, have the surgery and put him on IR. Get him ready for next year with the other 27 players.
Where's his wife?
Now, that is a good question.

Do you think the trainers or coaches had any input?? I do.
I'm sure they did, but the injury looked pretty minor to me. No one even knew it happened until a while after. I think McCarthy naming Tolzien the starter already shows what they think of Wallace.
but the injury looked pretty minor to me.
The ability to see pulled groins from his couch, THIS is what keeps me coming back! Impressive dude, no really.
I'm sure they did, but the injury looked pretty minor to me.
Well, there you have it. Injury looked "pretty minor" to Dr. Troy. Matthews tackling Stafford looked "pretty minor" to me. I guess Clay's a big pussy too.
You guys are funny sticking up for big ole puss Seneca. Wow, you would think I was cutting on Rodgers or someone important. He didn't go back to the locker room. He did however keep himself warmed up on the sideline. To me, that doesn't seem to major.
I wasn't sticking up for Taco, I was mocking you.
Man, having to point that out takes away all the fun.
I'm not sticking up for anyone either but I think I determined this much:
Seneca injured his groin enough to feel he wouldn't be as functional as Tolzien.
Since GB had no other QBs active on the roster he hung around the sidelines in case Tolzien got knocked out of the game.
You expected him to start treatment in the locker room immediately for a pulled groin?
Or to just go in the locker room and pull his groin?
Sticking up for Seneca? No. Attacking your bullsh!t "50 drunks in a bar"-worthy commentary? Absolutely.
Well Troy, like you, I stared at his groin the whole time. It wasn't that bad. It was actually pretty nice. Anyone got a picture of that groin?
troy has special glasses which helps him see the truth
