Right now he seems desperate to stay relevant, appearing on TV the other day saying he's waiting for Aaron to call him....
Just for good ol' times sake :
BTW, Interesting Footnote - The game Jennings windbag sister was tweeting about :
Rodgers 28-of-40 for 365 yards, 4 TD's and a near-perfect 131.8 QB rating.
Gerg Jennings : Crap pile after leaving Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. What an insecure media whore.
Love the last tweets reference to South Beach.... He needed to tune her out....
Grave Digger posted:Perhaps he saw what a big deal the organization was making for Donald Driver's retirement and then they basically just let Gerg walk very unceremoniously. Combined with Rodgers allegedly making jokes about other teams signing him, sounds like he probably thought he was a Packer for life and no one really cared that he was going to be leaving. He probably thought of himself as THE star of the offense also and being allowed to walk was a clear message he wasn't. That's tough to swallow and I can understand that to some extent, but that's the business he's in and he needs to quit being a little bitch. Donald Driver was a wonderful guy and a great Packer, but if the team had multiple replacements on-deck already when he hit 30 I could see them not re-signing him...and he would have understood I bet just like Jordy and James Jones and every other player in the league understood/understands.
Hanlon's Razor
Malice is certainly considered.
I think you have guys that respond well to constructive criticism - Jordy, Jones, Adams, Cobb, Janis and then you have guys like Jennings and Finley that take it personally. And you know #12 isn't shy with constructive criticism. I'm also guessing that if you aren't one of "his guys" that constructive criticism might come out a little more bluntly even if he's not outright trying to be a dick.
Ubetcha posted:I know that for the sake of a story media folks will try real hard to connect dots into whatever pattern will serve their own interest best. It actually was AR's brother, mother, and father that are at issue. From what I'm reading the family issue really doesn't seem to have a connection with being a diva. It sounds to me like his complaints might be legit, but I think it also is good evidence that AR can hold a grudge forever, no matter who's involved. Here's the link from an earlier interview with Olivia Munn talking about the family problem just after her an AR were an item.
