I don't think he's missing any opportunities unless he's planning on being an OC.
I understand he is not under contract starting the 14th, but "we decided to not renew your contract" is pretty much the same as being fired, let go, redundant or whatever you want to call it. I still fail to remember an instance where there have been multiple publicly announced meetings regarding something like this. If in fact the rumors regarding the interest in Zimmer are true, but they don't come to fruition, what kind of vote of confidence and backing would Garrett think he had going into the off-season and next season? The whole this is bizarre.
3rd meeting scheduled for Thursday
Poor Jason

But, I think we can agree here, that it would be a Jerruh-like thing to do. Flexing those muscles, doncha know!
Has anyone heard any mention of Jay Gruden's name with all these openings?

Garrett always has the option to leave on his own accord.
I don't know how anyone could 'coach' in DallAss and look at themselves in the mirror each day, but maybe he's the best man for that job...
Snyderbrenner.
Too bad he didn't fart ala' Tomsula!

He wouldn't be a bad option for someone's offensive coordinator. He would have been a good option for Cincinnati if they would have canned Marvin Lewis like they should have years ago.
I think Jay is helping out Jon in Oak....Las Vegas
Freaking Browns owner says that he will hire a coach first and then let him have input on who the GM will be.
I'm seeing MM and Wolf..

Thatâs just Cleveland being Cleveland. At least they had that Lebron guy for a few seasons.
Since Sundayâs regular season finale @SportsDayDFW has consistently reported that Garrett, whose contract expires on Jan. 14, wonât be retained.

I live and work with tons of Browns fans and they sure got quiet these last couple of months. They had a lot of diarrhea of the month early in the season.
The question to me is why in the hell would you even consider working for the Browns owner?
A: $$$$$$$$
.@JayGlazer reported on @NFLonFOX that Jason Garrett continues to lobby to be the Dallas Cowboys head coach.

Interesting....
Garrett: Um, ok look.....I know we had a tough decade....but next season for SURE, just give me a shot. Don't fire me yet!
WTF?!?!
Bret Bielema will talk to the Lions about their defensive coordinator job

Lions source says team is not in fact going to speak to Brett Bielema.

I have been informed by the Rams that my contract will not be renewed.

I want to thank them for the opportunity to be a part of their success the last 3years. Most of all I want to thank the players who I loved workings with. I still want to coach and feel I can contribute.
Well that sounds desperate.
"The Twitter" can be hard for older coaches and detectives.
MM's new DC!!
I think if MM brought Wade back to Dallas he would be fired immediately.
The Panthers are finalizing a deal with Matt Rhule of Baylor to be their next head coach as Yahoo reported. Wow

turned down the Brown interview. Awesome!
The #Giants have requested permission to speak with former #Cowboys coach Jason Garrett, sources tell me and @MikeGarafolo. Heâs still under contract in Dallas until Jan. 14, so permission is required.

Joe Judge to the Giants. Pursuing Garrett for OC.
Well done Giants. Nothing but success from that Belicheck coaching tree! Adding a Jason Garrett to the mix screams 5-6 consecutive SB titles!
Cleveland HC position still open, bone-us: pick your GM.
Cleveland will RUE THE DAY they weren't fast enough to jump on Joe Judge!
Summary of Cleveland coaching search.
In all honesty why in the phuck would anyone even talk to the Browns about the HC job? And then you get to have input in to the GM hire? And what GM would take the Browns job when they are neutered right from the start?
As a huge Browns hater I freaking love the dysfunction!
Henry posted:Summary of Cleveland coaching search.
Remember last offseason when people were pretending that was a better job than GB because the power structure was not conducive to success and the QB was an asshole?
If only the Packers had an owner.
I'm still blaming Murphy for everything.

Just wait until the players like Landry & OBJ start wanting out.
Panthers giving Rhule a 7 (seven), yes, a 7 year deal....worth up to $70 Million!!
What is he Gruden Jr?!??!?
Helluva deal, even if he flames out.
Hella deal for Rhule, for sure. They must have him tabbed as the next Lombardi.
