Not the same kind of pressure at Notre Dame.
The SEC is loaded, but sometimes I think the strength of schedule gets overrated. This is LSU's schedule next year. The fact that Florida State, Tennessee, Auburn, and Florida have really regressed as programs makes this schedule a lot easier than it would have been even 10 years ago. Alabama, LSU, Georgia, and Clemson have hoarded a lot 5-star recruits that used to get split more evenly among 8-10 schools in the south (SEC and Texas).
There are a lot of high-profile coaches in the SEC, but 90% of the game is decided by who gets those 5-star recruits 2-3 years before that game is being played. We'll see if Kelly can recruit down there. He'll be fine on the Xs and Os, but

Kind of reminds me of the Bert Bielama hire. Bert thought it was easier to win a National Championship in the SEC then the B1G. If Kelly thinks it will be easier to get into the CFP at LSU instead of Notre Dame he is sadly mistaken. But $95 million should ease his pain.
Kelly really benefited from the admissions office at ND lowering standards that they had never done for any previous coach. Of course he was smart, he got that concession before taking the job, knowing that, in comparison, his tenure there would look good.
Bama taking it to Georgiaβ¦.
The way things are shaking out if Meeechigan beats Iowa they could/will be the #1 seed. If Iowa wins all hell breaks loose.
I wouldn't be upset if Michigan won it all.
But I'm hoping for Cincinnati.
Then again, if Iowa beat Michigan, we could end up with Alabama, Georgia, Cincinnati, Notre Dame as the final 4.
I hope Michigan and Ohio State go oh-for-forever.
Forever. In every sport.

Iowa had a chance to set the tone, failed miserably. Missed a wide open TD and Crosbied the FG. Instead of playing from behind Harbaughs boys are feeling good.
And now feeling the lead.
Would be great to see Harbaughs head explode but I donβt see it happening.

Paul Chryst doesn't agree with you.
Outcome would have probably been the same.
