On the first SF drive, it was Crabtree, Crabtree, Crabtree, Crabtree, Crabtree, Crabtree, Crabtree, Crabtree, Crabtree, Crabtree, Crabtree, Crabtree, Crabtree, Crabtree, Crabtree, Crabtree, Crabtree, Crabtree, Crabtree, Crabtree, Crabtree.

Well, maybe not quite that many plays.  But it reminded me of how SF was able to get a big day for Boldin in Week 1, and a big day for Kaepernick in the playoffs last year.  Somehow SF is able to find a weakness in Dom's defense to exploit over and over again.

Perry was supposed to be a force opposite of Clay.  He was supposed to be able to get pressure and/or chase plays outside.  He's been injured.

Worthy was supposed to push the pocket and get to the QB.  He's be injured.

Datone was supposed to be strong enough to push the pocket, but quick enough to rush the QB and/or chase plays outside.  He's been non-existent this season.

There's you're Top 3 defensive picks over the last two drafts.  Capers' fault.

Capers' defense had a chance to make a play no fewer than three times on the final drive by San Francisco. The first one was the dropped interception by Hyde. Would have been a tough catch, as the ball sailed, but it was doable. That's what guys in the secondary are supposed to do. Catch interceptions, and prevent the other guys from completing passes. That can't be blamed on Capers.

The back breaker, though, can completely be blamed on Capers. 3rd and 8 (iirc), Bush rushes the quarterback, and then tries to cut inside on the blocker. He loses containment in doing so, and flushes Kaepernick out of the pocket. He runs for the first down, and that's pretty much the ballgame.

If I were the defensive coordinator, Bush would be doing laps around Lambeau field in his skivvies until he puked. It's completely unacceptable to me how often the players on this defense are out of position, or miss a tackle, or leave a guy running all alone in the middle of the field. When it keeps happening with different players, the puppet master is the one that ultimately shoulders the blame.

When was the last time this defense forced a fumble? Do we ever see guys punching at, or trying to strip the ball? No, they're too busy playing matador, and whiffing on tackles.

I'm so pissed right now, because this was a completely winnable game.

Packers had numerous chance to win this game. They didn't take advantage. 2 drops by Jones (admittedly tough catches but make-able ones) & the biggest play of the game IMO....the dropped "pick 6" from Hyde. If he picks that off & scores...we win going away.

In the playoffs you've got to make plays when they are presented to you. The Packers didn't get that done today & didn't deserve to win.

Just lovely....Another Lambeau loss in the playoffs. ****ing lovely...

Dom doesn't lose his job because of this game...he loses it because of the last 35 games combined....but as for today---who let Mulumba back in the game and why didn't they pull him when they recognized he couldn't run?.... yes there were some individual letdowns that weren't Dom's fault--there was also T. Williams outstanding Int that was an individual effort and not  related to scheme ..House got away with several interference plays that typically get called and SF scores 6 on the last drive if they have to...23 + points in -12 windchill on grass is pretty good...not quite as good as the Lions indoors...but a thumping....why are we the only team with a .500 record that can't figure out how to stop Kaepernick?

First of all, let me start by saying TT is one of the best GMs in the game. Now I'm going to say something that is sacrilegious on this forum: He needs to get better.

Way too many misses in the last few years. I think we got a true talent evaluation when AR was out. This team looked awful. It's going to be difficult to get excited on draft day considering how many pedestrians we've picked in the 1st round.

Lacy was a great pick. Bach looks like a great pick. Other than that, trading down to accumulate a half dozen 7th rounders isn't working. We need impact players, and it's time to dip into free agency to get some GOOD free agents. Gotta strike when the offense is championship caliber and not fill the roster with guys who may be decent in a few years.

TT has lost some of his touch lately and I hope it's not because we've lost some of our other front office people. TT needs to step up his game. And before anyone says, "Is it the players or the coaching?"...well...he controls who's doing that too.

TT spoiled the fans some. We began to take it for granted that when young players made the Packers roster it was due to exceptional talent. On the defensive side, at least, that isn't true anymore. Very few legitimate defensive starters have been drafted of late. Even in the 1-3 rounds. There are some decent situational players and some people thrust into action due to injury.

The devil you know is better than the devil you don't.

Either Capers sucks, Thompson's drafting of defensive players sucks or the Packers need to sign a FA (or two) on defense. Take your pick.
