Always thought "Old Sarge" was a complete idiot ever since we had someone on here asking about the differences between the military because their child wanted to join. Some of us were steering them away from the Marines "if living conditions were a factor", and "Old Sarge" had a hissy fit, claiming the Marines had every bit of good living conditions as the other services. I didn't really call him on it too hard, because I figured heck, he's just defending his branch of service. Then, a month later I find out the moron hadn't "served" in the military since the friggn' 70's! Like he would have a clue what modern living comparisons were.
May sound cold, but there was no sympathy posting from me when the putz "died".
Sometimes you just get a feeling about people. Guess I was right on both counts for once (and that don't happen often!
