Phat Eddie™

Eddie is so fat, "Am I unmotivated because I'm fat or am I fat because I'm not motivated" fits on the back of his jersey. 

Eddie Lacy is so fat that.......he....he is.......really fat.

The "...."  represent pauses...which is really hard to represent in a typed post.

Kind of like the Monty Python bit in Holy Grail

It reads, "Here may be found...

"...the last words of Joseph of Arimathea:

"'He who is valiant and pure of spirit...

"'...may find the Holy Grail...

"'...in the Castle of Aaargh."'

What?

"The Castle of Aaargh."

What is that?

He must have died while carving it.

-Come on!

Look, if he was dying,
he wouldn't bother to carve "Aaargh."

-Perhaps he was dictating it.

I guess once I brought up numbers I deserve a numerical/statistical response. (My first thought was to use the Mark Twain quote) However, We are averaging much less points a game this year when our run game was just a scary as our pass game. When others don't fear the run our pass game suffers and we also lose the time of possession. Just saying...

Truckers call a refrigerated trailer a reefer.  But Eddie "the reefer" Lacy didn't seem like the best choice.

The Packers use the pass to set-up the run.

However, We are averaging much less points a game this year

2014 -v- 2015  first 6 opponents and Packers points scored.

I've heard from my anonymous sources that when Weird Al Yankovic recorded his song "FAT", he had dedicated it to Eddie.  The really amazing thing about that was that Eddie wasn't even conceived yet!!

The Chargers definitely put up a fight right until the end. We were all playing good football out there. Packer Nation, ya’ll brought a great atmosphere out there. We shouldn’t have let them come back as they did, but getting the win is the most important. We learn and get better with each game.

Everyone has been doing their part and playing good football. We are playing as a team. James came out hot and had a big day so you got to keep feeding him. The defense made some big plays as well. Damarious saved the game and hit the ball out of the way at the end. 

It’s nice to go into our bye week being 6-0 and to have some extra time to rest up and get ready for the second half of the season. I think this bye is coming at a great time because we got some bruised up guys. We can all take this time to heal, get our minds right, and refocus. We got to take it one week at a time and focus on going 1-0 each week.

Eddie is so fat, he is currently eating in the future.
