Pass on Julioβ¦33 and couldnβt stay on the field last year

You kid right?
Compensation update: The Packers received the Raiders' first- and second-round picks in this year's draft, per source.
Well, going back to 2014, bye bye Duh-vantae.
Maybe that's why Z didn't sign with the Ravens.
How soon before Adams starts ripping on AR?

Evidently heβs no Carr
Packers get: 2022 first- and second-round picks (22nd and 53rd overall). The Packers now have 4 of the first 59 picks in next month's draft.

Package them and move up? Maybe way up

Elsewhere.
Rams are giving former Bearsβ WR Allen Robinson a three-year, $45 million deal that includes $30 million guaranteed, per source. Rams still have money left over for Odell Beckham Jr. and hope to re-sign him, per sources.
@D J posted:The Raiders gave him 5/141 and change. I doubt the Packers were touching that.
So I call BS on that source.
This is Demovsky's latest attempt to carry water for the organization.
It is what the Packer press does - spin to make the organization look good.
No one in the Wisconsin press is going to point out that if Davante was not going to play in GB then maybe, perhaps just maybe, getting this trade done BEFORE THE DECENT AVAILABLE WRs WERE GONE IN FREE AGENCY would have been a wiser move.
Does Adams have a sister?

F thatβ¦trust your scouting, get 4 quality players that become 3 starters
better use some of that money for a WR. Maybe MVS comes back for his four games a year.
Will Fuller
IF the Packers want to trade up, the 28th and 22nd pick are the value equivalent of the 7th or 8th
If Adams didn't want to return with Rodgers throwing to him and getting the bag on top of that, he's gotta be unhappy with something. Maybe it's Rodgers, maybe it's LaFleur, maybe it's the weather. It'll be interesting to see what he says in the coming weeks.
Anyway, a first and a second are pretty good vs a 30-year-old third-contract guy who demanded the money he did. Rebuild the WR corps.

nah
Gotta say, Gute fleeced the Raiders with this move, especially since both picks are this year and given what his new contract ended up being.
Sooooo I guess he IS the highest paid WR in the league eh??
@Pikes Peak posted:Trade the Raiders pick to move up for Malik Willis. Heads would explode
Too funny.
Can you imagine Willis (or Love) throwing to a group of receivers like Lewis, Degaura, Lazard, Cobb, and Amari Rodgers?
Trade Davonte Adams for Devonte Wyatt and a good WR? That doesnβt sound bad.
The AFC West is in an absolute arms race right now.
LSU have a Chase or Jefferson coming out this year?
It does make me sad he didnβt want to be hereβ¦β¦.I really wonder why.
Ohio States Chris Olave is mocking right around the 18-22 slot in the draft. Depending on what Gute does between now and then at WR, thatβd be a likely option to take with that pick.
Probably the right move. Third contracts rarely work out well for the team, let along third contracts that are slated to be the biggest deals ever for the position. Assume one of those first 4 picks will be a WR. Hope Gute is as good at finding WR talent as TT was.

I doubt it. TBH, I can see an argument for Jacksonville taking him #1 overall with the scarcity of quality behemoths basically always. He has the potential to be Aaron Donald + 6" and 50#. Plus, they brought back Cam Robinson, Drafted Walker Little last year and signed Brandon Scherff and if Little is ready to play LT this year, they've shored up their O-line and have Allen and Chaisson on the edge already.
It's a hell of a thought, though.

LOL. Can Degaura even be considered a TE when he can't catch??
With those picks the Packers can get the highest drafted long snapper ever.
Iβm not buying he didnβt want to be hereβ¦I think it was about contractβ¦Packers offered him the max and it wasnβt enough. Now he has the chance to play with hus best friend, he gets his contract and the Packers get max compensation. Itβs a win-win in my view.
Packers won the Super Bowl the year after Shannon Sharpe retired. 12 and MLF are going to have to get creative.Wonβt have the security blanket any more.

Sterling will fuck you up.
Regardless of all this, Devante will go into the Packer HOF as soon as he's eligible. I do hope the draft capital in this trade works out well for the Pack.

Will be interesting to see if theyβd take Olave or a big dude like Drake.
I think this means the Pack will be undefeated next year.
