I've said this for more than a year. He truly has a mental disorder, a severe self loathing complex, and an insane amount of daddy issues.

I'm being completely serious. This child is deranged.

So this kid is the future QB of the GBP?

No, you're a clueless ****ing idiot. What part about "I'm retiring", and the subsequent press conference where he cried talking about the great fans of Green Bay, his teammates and coaches, etc, did you not understand??? We basically left the door open even after he retired, gave him plenty of opportunity to relent, and he didn't....UNTILL we moved forward without him. THAT pissed him off.

"How could they replace me?? They're not begging me. I shall come back, and seek more attention!"

Yeah, and I am sure you are going to apply to work at the EEOC tomorrow

Stick it already you goof
So he's got a torn rotator cuff, and had to be talked into coming by CKA. Anyone else get the vibe that he just sorta is still trying to figure out if he's into it? I mean, when it's your kids and the local HS team who are your voice of reason then there's something wrong.

Vikings are in a world of hurt and they don't even know it.

I call bull$hit on all that. I think Favre said he'd love to be a Viking, but wanted nothing to do with the dorm life of training camp. Seeing how easy Chilly will bend over for this guy, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if this deal was in the works when Brett "stayed retired" in July.

I believe nothing from either of these assclowns.

Just how long was the cord attaching you to your mommy wrapped around your neck???

Rodgers had vastly superior #'s to Favre last year, not even close. There's no discussion. Favre's last pass in Green Bay cost us a chance to get to the Super Bowl. Remember that?? His carelessness blew our chance to get back to the big game. Remember the Cowboys game, how bad Brett looked? Rodgers came in, and almost won the game, even being down a huge deficit. Rodgers is the better quarterback, hands down.

Whenever Brett does retire, tell you what. We'll get a message to Bus Cook. Whenever Brett is tired, and he needs a place to rest his balls, you will volunteer your chin. Deal?

I really hope you are just a bit and don't actually believe the stuff you type.

But, for fun I'll play along. What is it about Rodgers you don't like? The fact he can throw the ball on the money on deep bombs? The fact he's incredibly accurate? That he can avoid the pass rush and use his legs to make plays? That in 1 half of football against the Cowboys he played better than Favre ever did in that stadium? That, statistically, he had one of the best seasons of a first year starter in NFL history? That he's done all the right things ever since Favre retired the first time?

I'm curious. I just don't know what's not to like about him.

Anti Rodgers? the guy has handled this whole fiasco with the utmost class, dignity and refuses to get caught up in something that doesn't affect the TEAM. Something that Magua needs to learn. You can hate on Rodgers all you want but when he beats your beloved Viking be back on this board to take it.

Icon is a fanboi, GBP. Logic doesn't apply to him. He wants Favre in Green Bay, and nobody else will make him happy. The Risen Jesus himself could play QB for Green Bay, throw 5,000 yards (you know he'd have one heck of a Hail Mary), and the Packers could be 19-0, and the-Icon would still bitch about it.
Also, as far as the waffling. It happens, its a big star near the end and wants to go out on his terms. But when he comes to a point where hes ready to suit up, you let him suit up. Didn't he say in the offseason before leading the team to 13-3 that he wasn't sure if he wanted the ball in his hands in the 4th quarter.

TT decided to move on and exiled him to New York, but it ended up biting him in the butt anyway. He misjudged that Favre was going to play two more years. Now if the Vikings have a better year its going to make him look really bad especially if the Packers implode. They will probalby have Flynn as the qb like half the season because of injuries. Another thing people will then bash him for, not having a vet backup.

Wrong! Waffling and retiring are different things.

If I tell my boss I am retired, then he's not expecting me to come in to work anymore.

A NORMAL athlete holds a press conference, saying they are retiring, and that's it. Sure they have regrets, but they don't come back. Brett pulled this crap for 3 years in a row. Finally, we had closure.

You are making excuses for his pathetic behavior, and that's more pathetic than what Brett's doing.

yep. Bite him in the butt not having the starting QB in camp and now having to learn a new OL with an OL that sucks pass blocking. I can't wait to see the Packers OLB run right around Fat ass McKenzie and Leadfeet. No Birk in the middle is going to hurt too. And hopefully we hear something on the word on the Williams Cheaters.

You do realize that Favre was made to look like an old, washed up has-been in New York last year, right?

He will look just as stupid in Minnesota throwing passes to guys like Chuck Woodson and Nick Collins when it matters the most.

TT looks like Einstein through this whole thing. Rodgers is three times the QB that Favre is right now, and if you can't see that then you really are a lost cause.

Smiler It's still hilarious he throws out a "feeling" that's the same thought umpteen other people have had and it generates 7 pages discussion in about 12 hours just on this board. Glazer simply brought it up again at the time so many said Favre would sign. That Favre signs now really isn't a big surprise, but all the people nutslurping Glazer for bringing up the same thing so many others have is really funny. As I said, Hungry5 (among others) was well ahead of him.

Favre sells because so many take it so seriously. Why should he retire and why shouldn't a team want him? Think of all the jerseys and merchandise rolling off the racks now. Look at all the buzz it creates. This is golden for the NFL.

You a-hole, leave the man alone and give me my Fanta.

I've heard he has a very good source

I generally like to read his stuff more often than Glazer. He's like Arrigo with panache.
