He did that a couple of weeks ago. Does he have to deny every rumor by every writer wannabe?

Glazer is hardly a writer wannabe. With a drama queen like favre when there's smoke, there is fire.

And, the story continues. Mark "ball washer" Rosen was just on the radio saying Favre is on his way to Minnesota and will arrive today. FWIW.

PFT already picked up on it.

It sells like Orange Fanta to Goalline. Wink

Yeah well espn just broke out a story that he boarded a plane from MS to St.Paul,Mn @ 9:10 A.M. our time
If this turns out to be true, then it would only add to Glazer's history of being on the money throughout the 18-month-long Brent drama. He went to great pains to explain that his article was nothing more than an opinion/prediction, but he's not a guy who just makes things up and tosses chum into the water hoping something sticks.

If he signs with the vikes, he’s dead to me. I have been incredibly forgiving during this whole ****ing mess, but that would be just too much for me (even if he starts saying that this does not have anything to do with revenge).

The only bright side is that I can’t see him playing that well, and in the end will only screw the Vikes.

Ed, "incredibly forgiving" is an understatement.
Conflicting reports...some news stories say that Brent and Diana Faver boarded the plane. Others say it was Brent Faver by himself. Other stories say the Vikings logo was on the plane. One story said the plane was bound for Minneapolis, another one says it was headed for St. Paul.

Who the hell knows at this point?

From the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:

Faver may be heading to Vikings camp

Aug. 18, 2009 10:04 a.m.

Brent Faver boarded a plane today (Tuesday) at 9:10 a.m. at the Hattiesburg Laurel Regional Airport that is headed to St. Paul, Minn., according to a local television station in Hattiesburg, Miss.

I think this is going to be a riot ... Favre isn't going to lead the Vikings to anything. He's a choke when it matters, and he fits in perfect with an organization known for choking.

I think the division is going to be more fun than at any time I can ever remember. They've got douche's at QB in Minny and Chicago .. we've got an excellent young QB who I think is better than both of them. This is going to be fun. It just got a lot easier to hate the Vikings all that much more.
Report: Favre to get $12 million for one year

Posted by Mike Florio on August 18, 2009 11:24 AM ET

Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports reports that the Vikings will pay Brett Favre $12 million for one season of football with the team.

That matches the amount Favre earned in 2008 with the Jets, and it's only $1 million less than what Favre was due to make under the final year of his contract, which the Jets acquired last year via trade.

Cole's report contradicts past suggestions that Favre would receive an incentive-based contract that paid him based on his ability to play and/or his success.

Source: Favre Expected To Sign With Vikings Today

A high-level source with the Minnesota Vikings tells WCCO-TV's Mark Rosen that quarterback Brett Favre is expected to sign with the team Tuesday.

Favre is on currently on his way to Minneapolis and is expected to sign with the team this afternoon, the source said.

LMAO! Obviously, the ball washing still isn't paying off.
You have to wonder if they got a little more interested after seeing GB in action on Saturday. I would assume they thought they could coast through the NFC North until they saw that the Packer Defense had a clue already. This should be a fun season! I love Brett Favre, but I am done with him and hope he ends up losing his streak because of a Packer induced injury. That big head he has built recently should make for a nice target.

The only people in more denial then TOG are Childress/Wilf. Nuts.

And can't wait to see how they possibly spin this yet again to T-Jax & Sage.

This is what I love about the entire thing. Imagine how Sage/T-jack feel. They bust their asses off all offseason and Chilly talks about being confident in them. After all of this, it's quite clear those were just empty words. I just can't believe a team would take a 40 year old QB who hasn't put in any of the work this offseason outside of lobbing passes to high schoolers, coming off a surgery to his throwing arm, and just hand him the keys to the offense. Certainly not the move a "super bowl contending" team would make IMO

It will be a one year failed experiment that ends with everyone getting fired, and Favre back in retirement.

Until he comes out of retirement...one week after Mike Holmgren comes out of retirement, and announces that he's contemplating playing for the Walrus again.

I wonder if he pulls this **** in bed with Deanna.

"Brett, are you in the mood???"

"No honey. I think I'm going to watch a movie. No, wait a minute, I think I'm going to give you some sweet lovin'. Get the French Tickler and the Astro Glide. On second thought, no, I think I'd rather watch a movie. Actually, come to think of it, I am kinda horny after being on that big ol' John Deer tractor...."
