Alright boys (and girls), inevitably,  this topic is going to get closed at some point and it may not even last 24 hours.

I am opening this thread to prevent the other Chiefs week thread from going down the crapper. Rodgers spoke on the McAfee show. From everyone reporting on it, it's a complete shit show and we might as well get it all out here.

Let's try and have a civil discussion on this and keep it to Rodgers and his comments. I do not want this devolving into a Vax vs Anti-Vax war. Plenty of other areas to do that.

If someone has the actual interview, you can post it here. If I see it, I will.

Boy he really wanted to be a Bronco, huh?

I said this in the other thread that I now deleted.

I take nothing away from AR and the kind of QB he is on the field. He is arguably the most talented QB to ever play in the modern era.

Having said that, I am understanding more and more why the Packers F.O. want to move on. I am not saying that's the right decision, but let's just say I get it.

I once used Hairy TaintStrip as a fantasy football team name.

Rodgers is out this week, and possibly longer if he actually gets sick and has respiratory issues. As healthy as he touts his lifestyle to be, Covid couldn't care less.

He's a smart guy and I'm sure he gathered tons of info when he made his decision. His employer likely is less than happy about this situation. Problem for them, he is a high performer, and in almost every business, those that contribute at a high level get preferential treatment.

I mean, he’s beyond trying to burn the house down.  He’s wanting to nuke the entire country.

I thought things were bad over the summer.  This latest episode has the chance to derail the season.  I mean, it’s not all that dissimilar from Ben Simmons or Kyrie Irving.

In retrospect, the Packers made a huge mistake not trading him to the 49ers or Broncos before or around draft time.

Not if they keep winning.  Winning cures almost everything.

But boy-howdy, the irony in his pre season tantrum about the entire organization not being "all in", it finally looks like they are doing all they can to appease him and surround him with enough talent to get back to the SB, and here he is torpedoing the whole damn thing himself.

Holy schadenfreude shit show.

Jesus, me too.

What a fucking clown shoes.

So ignoring Silverstein's diatribe of insufferable tweets, here's what AR actually said.

Rodgers said he has an allergy to an ingredient in the mRNA vaccines and was told by his medical team that he was at higher risk of more serious adverse effects of the J&J shot as opposed to getting COVID and recovering.

Whether any of that is actually true, who knows.

Hopefully Love has a great couple weeks and the decision next spring is easier. And, one with options.

If legit Super Bowl chances aren't there it's time to be done.  Honestly, I'm at the point it's time to be done regardless.

My youngest daughter has allergies.  She will go into anaphylactic shock if she ingests dairy or is exposed to cold temperatures for too long.   So I know damn well about that topic.

My guess is he has an intolerance of some type.  Perhaps.  Who knows?  He’s a conniving liar who we say or do anything to save his ass.

I like how he tries to turn this back on the fans and media by using terms like "woke" and "cancel" to excuse the fact that he purposefully tried to mislead people by using the term "immunized" instead of "vaccinated".  He knew exactly wtf he was doing.

No QArron, there's nothing "woke" about thinking you shouldn't be a fucking douche canoe and mislead people, and the play the victim card when people realized you did.  That's just you being an asshole.

It's also really hard to take you seriously when you say you want to be all in and even have a say in personnel decisions in order to be more competitive and then your own personal decisions put the team in a position to be less competitive.

And I'll add, for a dude who supposedly likes Jordan Love and is a personal cheerleader of is, pretty fuckin' classless as a leader and face of the franchise to come out and spew this shit on the weekend the kid is about to make his debut.

He could have said all this crap on his regular Tuesday gig. Why now?!

Just complete bullshit.

Undoubtedly true and advice  from the same medical team that used homeopathic methods to raise his immunity level.

So I'm assuming he has allergy issues with flu vaccines as well.  Maybe he's allergic to mRNA itself!  He's allergic to every cell in his body.

I mean, maybe the Packers should pull a 76ers move and suspend and fine Rodgers like they are doing with Ben Simmons.  That will allow him all the time he needs to bone up on other treatments like pounding goat piss and guzzling whale sperm.

Horse paste.  Fucking A.

So he is on the horse paste.  Christ.

I didn't think he was capable of entering Favre's arena of "questionable choices outside of football" but here we are.

He a walking example of a guy who thinks his genius in one area (football) applies to everything else he does.  Newsflash, it doesn't.

When he meant all in, I guess that meant doing everything in his power to burn down the franchise and kill the season.

What a fantastic leader.

Brent looks like a hero compared to this guy.  Think about that.

If he never plays another down for this team I’m totally fine with it.

Let's just say it's actually true.  Why not say this when asked about it?  Why not try to get a different vaccine (say, AZ or something that would work for him) even if it wouldn't have put you on the vaccinated list but at least it would show you cared about science and being vaccinated?  Why instead lie about it and take horse paste instead?

Because more than likely he's blowing smoke up everyone's ass because he knows there's no way anyone can prove he's lying here because any Dr can't say whether it's true or not because of HIPAA violations.

Fool me once...

Well, his lovely bride to be has some very distinct views on health and wellness as well.

It’s astonishing to me just how bat shit crazy he sounds.  You couple that with him being selfish and arrogant and who knows, maybe he should run for public office.  He’d fit right in.

Gute, MM, MLF, Gerg Jennings, J Mike and plenty of others need an apology.  Simply amazing.

What he said in the interview (after you mute all of the ranting) was that he's allergic to mRNA and his doctors advised him that he faced worse side effects from J&J than from COVID.

He also said that everyone in the organization, including the players, knew of his vaccination status and he was trying to minimize the constant distraction the media would have been if it was public that he was unvaccinated.

Full list of ingredients

The Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine contains the following ingredients:

Type of Ingredient

Ingredient

Purpose

Messenger ribonucleic acid (mRNA)

  • Nucleoside-modified mRNA encoding the viral spike (S) glycoprotein of SARS-CoV-2

Provides instructions the body uses to build a harmless piece of a protein from the virus that causes COVID-19. This protein causes an immune response that helps protect the body from getting sick with COVID-19 in the future.

Lipids (fats)

  • PEG2000-DMG: 1,2-dimyristoyl-rac-glycerol, methoxypolyethylene glycol
  • 1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphocholine
  • BotaniChol® (non-animal origin cholesterol)
  • SM-102: heptadecane-9-yl 8-((2-hydroxyethyl) (6-oxo-6-(undecyloxy) hexyl) amino) octanoate

Work together to help the mRNA enter cells.

Salt, sugar, acid stabilizers, and acid

  • Sodium acetate
  • Sucrose (basic table sugar)
  • Tromethamine
  • Tromethamine hydrochloride
  • Acetic acid (the main ingredient in white household vinegar)

Work together to help keep the vaccine molecules stable while the vaccine is manufactured, frozen, shipped, and stored until it is ready to be given to a vaccine recipient.

Ingredients that are NOT used in COVID-19 vaccines

The above table lists ALL ingredients in the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine. There are NO ingredients in this vaccine beyond what is listed in the table. The Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine has

  • No preservatives like thimerosal or mercury or any other preservatives.
  • No antibiotics like sulfonamide or any other antibiotics.
  • No medicines or therapeutics like ivermectin or any other medications.
  • No tissues like aborted fetal cells, gelatin, or any materials from any animal.
  • No food proteins like eggs or egg products, gluten, peanuts, tree nuts, nut products, or any nut byproducts (COVID-19 vaccines are not manufactured in facilities that produce food products).
  • No metals like iron, nickel, cobalt, titanium, rare earth alloys, or any manufactured products like microelectronics, electrodes, carbon nanotubes or other nanostructures, or nanowire semiconductors.
  • No latex. The vial stoppers used to hold the vaccine also do not contain latex.

AdjuvantsAluminum saltsTo help boost the body’s response to the vaccineFrom drinking water, infant formula, or use of health products such as antacids, buffered aspirin, and antiperspirants
StabilizersSugars, gelatinTo keep the vaccine effective after manufactured. From eating food such as Jell-O® and resides in body naturally
Residual cell culture materialsEgg protein^To grow enough of the virus or bacteria to make the vaccineFrom eating foods containing eggs
Residual inactivating ingredientsFormaldehyde†To kill viruses or inactivate toxins during the manufacturing processResides in body naturally (more in body than vaccines). Also found automobile exhaust, and household furnishing such as carpets and upholstery.
Residual antibioticsNeomycinTo prevent contamination by bacteria during the vaccine manufacturing processAntibiotics that people are most likely to be allergic to — like penicillin — aren’t used in vaccines

Tells you all you need to know.

Isn't this fairly obvious he's full of shit here?  These are the first mRNA vaccines ever.  How does he know he's allergic unless he took it?  What side effects from the J&J vaccine are worse than being intubated for covid or literal death?  What Dr in their right mind would say getting covid is better than vaccine side effects?  Really?

His problem is he already lied to us and distorted the truth.  Why should we give him another pass on this topic?
