It's this shit that really draws the line.  "Unjust" says the white, rich, famous QB.

Fuck you chump.  You've never had a hard day in your life and you think you can juxtapose the words of MLK for your victimhood?

What he said in the interview (after you mute all of the ranting) was that he's allergic to mRNA and his doctors advised him that he faced worse side effects from J&J than from COVID.

He also said that everyone in the organization, including the players, knew of his vaccination status and he was trying to minimize the constant distraction the media would have been if it was public that he was unvaccinated.

Actually, no. He claims he's allergic to an ingredient in the MRNA not the whole vaccine itself. How he knows this he didn't state.

And by telling at best 1/2 truths back in August and what many would consider flat out lying, it's frankly hard to believe what's coming out of Rodgers pie hole anymore.

Okay, fine, yes, but that's just semantics. Phrase it how you would like, but if you are allergic to any ingredient in the mRNA vaccine you are not allowed to take it.

Again, I'm not saying I buy a majority of his bullshit, just throwing out what he is actually saying in the interview and why he chose to do what he did.

Semantics is what got him into all this trouble in the first place.

He has an allergy to an ingredient in a vaccine...the woke-mob is after him....cancel culture is coming to get him...no mention of the red scare?  He is not as smart as I thought he was.

Somebody needs to tell him that humanity has endured 7.19 billion covid vaccine shots. Most of us have had some adverse reaction to it. We did it any way in part  because we care about our fellow man and actually moving beyond this pandemic, Two things that wil never register with Aaron or his fellow self centered narcissistic brethren.

It is not the woke mob going after Henry Ruggs III. It is a society that actually cares about the well being of others and has simple rules to stop people from harming others no matter how much they feel the rules don't apply to them.

It's a different level of callousness and a different level of immediate impact, but in the same genre.

I had a belly full of this jack ass this summer as he sat back and enjoyed the media's fawning over his sad, disrespected plight---I wanted  him out of town then, but greedily wanted 2 more wins against the Bears before he set sail...My greed is satiated. We can't get rid of him soon enough.

Aaron probably should use some of his  cunning investigative skill into harmful things  as it relates to potential CTE issues that can arise from over extending a career full of cranial squishes.

Henry, they didn't say microchips weren't included. (sarcasm)

They actually did, I just didn't copy that part.

Vaccine ingredients vary by manufacturer. None of the vaccines contain eggs, gelatin, latex, or preservatives. All COVID-19 vaccines are free from metals such as iron, nickel, cobalt, lithium, and rare earth alloys. They are also free from manufactured products such as microelectronics, electrodes, carbon nanotubes, or nanowire semiconductors.

I do like one thing he said because it brings into focus how arbitrary the protocols are.

If he tests negative today and going forward, he still cannot play this Sunday, even if he has no symptoms. If he had the flu, and felt like he does now, he would absolutely play on Sunday and no one would question it.

Because the flu isn't as deadly or have the potential for other long term health effects.

If he's going to argue this shit he better sound smarter than the dumb turds on this board.

Wow.  Well, one thing is clear.  Regardless of what the organization thinks or wants, this is his last season as a Packer.  I think all of his anger (because who has been more wronged and mistreated than Rodgers?) will be directed at the team and Packer community and he will have no desire to stay.  But at this point I wouldn't be surprised if he retired altogether.  This will be the biggest chip he's ever had on his shoulder.

I agree, but the point is if he had COVID, but has since recovered (meaning he has no symptoms but he's got those juicy anti-bodies now), and has nothing but negative tests today all the way up to and including Sunday, why does he have to isolate for 8 more days, or 3 more days, or 10 more days?

I think this has probably just unmasked (pun intended) what he's always been. A malignant narcissist. A lot of elite athletes are. Unfortunately, the kind of arrogance/confidence that goes along with it is what makes some guys great (Michael Jordan is a prime example).

At least Cole Beasley and Kirk Cousins were honest about it. Every bit of rationale scientific evidence shows they are misguided, but they were willing to take the criticism that went along with their positions.

Quoting MLK is a "just don't go there" moment for almost everyone, but especially in this case. Rodgers wasn't taking a stand at all until he was absolutely forced to. He was a coward who wanted to avoid consequences for his decisions. In no universe does that equate to what MLK or people like John Lewis did in the Civil Rights movement (almost get beaten to death for walking across a bridge).

Even if you are anti-vaxx how can you like him? He wasn't willing to support that position until he had to. I'm sure those types will latch on now, though.

If he really has, or thinks he has, an allergy to vaccines in general (which, as pointed out by others, was impossible to know), then just say that in August. Just say "I have a bad reaction in general to vaccines and after consulting with my doctors I've decided that is too much of a risk for me. I will not comment further because I value my privacy. This will be the last I talk about it." The problem is he doesn't want to deal with any criticism at all.

The ivermectin stuff is beyond stupid. He's definitely going to cleanse his intestinal tract though and probably lose some weight.

Vaccines causing sterility? When are the Rodgers/Nikki Minaj memes coming?

He's become exactly what Ryan Braun became. Interestingly, Rodgers was more than happy to comment on Braun's situation and what it felt like to be lied to. Make no mistake, Rodgers lied.

We will see whether he retains all these endorsements. I can't imagine an insurance company or a health system wanting to be associated with this.

I also don't think he'll ever be a guest host on Jeopardy again.

2021 Endorsements

One of the earliest and most lucrative endorsements came in the form of an Adidas deal that allowed for a more prominent presence in advertisements through all media in an NFL market dominated by Nike because it makes all the league's official jerseys. Rodgers' best-known national endorsement came in as the State-Farm 'Discount Double Check' commercials.

He earned $9 million off the field through memorabilia, royalties, and endorsement deals with Adidas, State-Farm, Prevea healthcare, Bergstrom Automotive, Sharpie, and IZOD. Additionally, State Farm is one of the richest endorsement deals in the NFL.

This is the crux of the issue and why nobody can take him seriously now.  If any of what he said is true (and it's highly sus anyway), he could have been a man and owned up to it before the season started.  But instead he lied and now he's making excuses to save face (and then having an unhinged tirade on top of it).

And they are excuses because the side effects he mentioned on the J&J vaccine were for menopausal women.  Unless he has something else he's been keeping secret...

Packer community?  At least half of it will be behind him on this.  Based on the stories coming out of the state and personal exchanges I've had, probably more than half.

So, in other words if someone was somehow still on the fence about getting vaccinated and was going to finally do it, he may have given them more ammunition not to?

I'm not sure if you were referring to my comments, but I don't disagree.  My point though is he will still direct his anger at us, even if only a minority are angry at him about this.

I do remember how quickly he turned on Braun.  Go figure.

He just doesn’t fucking get it.  I think he truly believes he’s smarter and more enlightened than anyone else.  As a result, he’s never wrong and it’s everyone else that is stupid or misinformed.

This explains a lot why he’s estranged from his family, how he can’t ever hold down a relationship, you name it.  But he was blessed with a magic arm.  No different than Kyrie Irving in basketball.

The sad thing about all of this is Mark Murphy actually sounds like a genius now after proclaiming “he’s a complicated fella.” When Mark Murphy starts sounding like a voice of reason the world really may have turned upside down.

"No thank you. I value my body autonomy. I'm going to consult with the shitty stand up comedian that hosted a show challenging contestant to do beer bongs filled with bull semen. I've heard that there are some zootropics made by Mike Cernovich that can help heal ligaments naturally"

I'm not sure if he has a PR person, or if he listens to him/her.  If this is the advice he's been given in how to respond to the media, that PR person should be fired.  My guess is, if he has a publicist, he probably wouldn't listen anyway because he knows better, of course.  I've been a PR person.  #1 rule is tell the truth, because the truth will always come out and you have to get in front of it and control the narrative.  If you don't, this is the kind of thing that happens.

Telling the truth in the beginning with a sane explanation would have been ideal, but that ship has sailed.  Worse thing that could have happened if he told the truth from the beginning is that people would disagree with him and he'd have to follow the NFL's protocol for unvaccinated players.

All he had to do after the word got out that he lied is admit that he was being evasive for the following reasons (whatever the sane reasons are) and apologize to everyone.  Then say what the plan is moving forward.  Finally, say this conversation is over, he'll follow NFL protocols (or has been, who knows) for unvaccinated players, and the rest is private health information.  But because he's not media savvy, it's out of control now, and he just keeps on looking more and more like a crazy bafoon.

Unfortunately for the Packers, not only is his shade casting a negative shadow on the team, his trade value gets less and less the more he opens his mouth.

Isn't this fairly obvious he's full of shit here?  These are the first mRNA vaccines ever.  How does he know he's allergic unless he took it?  What side effects from the J&J vaccine are worse than being intubated for covid or literal death?  What Dr in their right mind would say getting covid is better than vaccine side effects?  Really?

His problem is he already lied to us and distorted the truth.  Why should we give him another pass on this topic?

Neither side affects nor serious complications from Covid are guaranteed.   He stated that his doctor advised him that because of his exemplary health he believed there was more risk, even though it’s minimal, in taking the jab.   The risks are minimal for both scenarios.   He has a 99.9999 percent chance of being just fine from Covid.   He has a 99.999 percent chance of being just fine from the JnJ jab.

Got it.

I think we all know any testing program in professional sports for the most part is PR.

All he had to do after the word got out that he lied is admit that he was being evasive for the following reasons (whatever the sane reasons are) and apologize to everyone.  Then say what the plan is moving forward.

And yet he took zero personal responsibility in that interview for anything he said or did, instead pointing fingers and blaming everyone else and decided to burn the whole house down.

I mean I'm not surprised, this is how I always felt like he probably was in private but it's interesting to see when he's actually called out on his bullshit how much he just can't admit to doing anything wrong and instead doubles down on it.
