My check balance book doesn't have room for that many digits. How do these athletes do it? Do they write out into the margins?
I don't know what these young kids are doing, but BK taught me to open up 30 different bank accounts.

Yeah, well heâs missing now so I wouldnât shadow what he does

Do you think he's missing because he took all my money? Banks are supposed to be FDBK insured, right?
Ok, so are you saying you offâd him then? ð§
No! I'm saying he might be on a tropical island somewhere!!! ðĪŊðŊðē
Intrigue abounds.
Heâs in RubeChat. Spending all your money.

Likely he showed up to learn as much as possible from the new DC (plus the $ of course).

Even more notable, not only did JL10 show up, but ALL FIVE of his wideouts did as well.
Different, and much better, attitude toward TEAM with this current roster of young uns.
Can't wait to see how this team comes together post draft.

I hope you're right, DD.
I think JA turned a corner after his suspension last year. His attitude and effort seemed to change for the better. It would be wise for him to carry that momentum into this season.
It could be quite rewarding, as well!

In prison?
I was thinking shallow grave.
But let's go with prison.

You forgot Slayer.
Kiel is why VG left. No way those 2 are in the same area code. Something, something.... woman scorned.

Tooner?
Derps?
Beef âhit thatâ once too often. Add him to the list. Also, the Artist fka TD. Perhaps, edgefour as well. BenzeneâĶ nope, wait, we got him back.
Can't wait to watch this guy cook in this scheme. If he's healthy for 16-17 games it would be a minor disappointment if he didn't make All Pro.

Daisy chain?
This doesn't even sound like the same guy as last season - pre suspension

That's because it isn't the same guy

I hope he never stops talking shit. Keep on running that mouth!
I can only imagine Jaire and Tucker Kraft going up against each other in practice.
With or without red shirts on. Or would it matter?
When he plays, Jaire is still a decent coverage CB.
However, Jaire is a part-time player and has been a part-time player for years.
He also offers next to nothing as a tackler.
Jaire's contract is not as bad as the Bakh deal or, at this point, the recent Clark or Gary re-signings,
But whenever we hear about how smart the Packers are because they give so many of their own guys (big) 2nd or 3rd contracts ... it might be time to revisit that philosophy.
^^^^^Agree 100% with the post above!!
True, after his rookie season, he played and started 31 out of 32 games in his next two seasons. And also true, he started in the Pro Bowl, was 2nd Team All-Pro, and was rated as the #1 CB in the NFL by PFF (suspect publication). His peers voted him in the off season as the 41st best player in the NFL. You could probably make the case the Packers made the correct move in exercising his Fifth Year Option.
But wouldnât you know it. He injured his shoulder pretty severely in Week 4 of 2021 and missed the remainder of the season. Injured badly enough it requires surgery in the off season.
And this is where thePackers blinked first. Despite missing basically the entire 2021 season, they went ahead and signed to a hefty 4 year extension in spring 2022. Why??? He missed most of the previous season with an injury. Thatâs probably gonna linger and/or reoccur. Throw the previous 4 seasons out the window. Heâs damaged goods. Probably a precursor of things to come. They shouldâve waited until after year five, let him test FA. If heâs injured or non-productive, the Packers wouldâve been able to let him go or sign him on the cheap. Heâs damaged goods.
Well, despite the damaged goods, Jaire goes out and has a pretty good 2022 season - 56 total tackles, five interceptions, and 14 passes defended in 16 starts. He was ranked 26th by his fellow peers on the NFL Top 100 Players of 2023.
Thereâs that shoulder though. And donât forget, Jaire got paid. The guy can coast milk, injuries, collect a paycheck. And thatâs exactly what heâs done since the start of last season. In 2023, he plays less than half the games and gets suspended for the Week 17 game. He plays in the two playoff games and records an INT, 7 solo tackles, 5 assisted tackles, and a PD. But on 7 regular season games due to injury ainât gonna cut it. If heâs more available, maybe the Packers are playing a few home games in the playoffs.
And honestly, it really goes back to the 5th year option and the subsequent extension. Either opportunity for the Packers brass to move on from him. But instead, theyâre stuck with an oft-injured, seldom available, non-tackling malcontent. Itâs moves like these that make you wonder if Gute really has the pulse of his roster.
FRONT OFFICE GUY (aka SteveLuke) with another â20/20 hindsightâ HOT TAKE.
Well, based on his frequent injuries, I'm pretty certain CB will be high on Gutey's draft needs in 2025, perhaps a FA as well.
