Brilliant.
Idiot.
There have been many jokes about "respect yards", but that's kind of what he brings to this offense.
A post on another thread said something like "he's no earl campbell or christian okoye, but..."
I don't think anybody is saying he is. It seems most talk about him around here and from national press is pretty consistent in what he is and what he isn't. He's a big bruising back with quick feet and great vision/patience but lacks homerun burst or speed. 1265 is clearly satisfied with him.
no need to quote the post
Ditto on the quick feet. As I remember them Earl Campbell and Okoye were road-graders basically plowing through anything and everything. Lacy takes his time picking the lane, then goes. At times it looks like he's bottled up, but then makes a quick shift and bolts ahead for more yards.
Campbell was a wrecking ball. He had speed, wiggle and brute force. Though now he's just a wreck.
Exhale.
Funny thread. Where is jblowme these days anyhow?
are we still worried about his fast food habit?
cause that was a good one.
He's nothing without Big Ern. So by default (Big Ern's favorite word) he should also be ROY AND a pro bowler.
With all of the camp comments I have been reading about Mike Daniels=cannonball, how about bringing him in at FB near the goal line instead of Raji?
I like this idea. Better than the 7 OL alignment from SNF.
Exactly! We all know Big Ern puts Eddie on his back and carries him into the endzone. I'm so tired of hearing about these other imposters like Lang, Sitton, Barclay and Borat. Heresy!
Here comes Alex Van Pelt to tell us about pulling guards.
Man, you guys are brutal!
I'd hate for all my stupid posts to be brought up again!
Lotta Jeenyous in this document.
I was pretty stoked about Lacy the night it happened. I was at a work happy hour and friend that went to Alabama just says "Nice draft pick". I'm thinking they went with Lacy in the first which i wasn't 100% sold on so could not believe they got him at the end of the second, after trading back.
Seemed to like draft scouts over analyzed Lacy and that's what caused him to drop. Glad he did though and glad TT took advantage.
Loved it when Pitt took Bell & Donkeys took Ball then both teams spoke about why they passed on Lacy
Thank YOU!!
Congrats Eddie!
Loved the suit! (you tell a man his size it's kinda funny looking)
Aaron is the best player in Green Bay. Probably the best in football. But I love me some Eddie Lacy. So damn much fun to watch.
That last pass/run against the Jets was AWESOME!
Love that fat, donut eating, pokemon lovin' bastard. Plus, he's just good peeps.
All those spermhead highlights.
As much as Aaron deserved it, I felt Lacy should have been a serious contender for MVP last season. He has turned this offense into a two-headed snake. He needs some rings to show for it.
EDIT: Just saw that Lacy actually was worse at rushing last season than he was in his rookie year.

Get your **** together Snowplow.
Eddie is just sick and strong. That highlight reel is full of him making something out of little, especially the short screen pass against the Eagles that he takes into the end zone.
Hope TT resigns him to a new deal after this season if he continues in the same way. He's Packer People.
Is it any coincidence his best runs came vs the Vikes?
I'll bet #36 HATES to see him coming! Lacy flattened him once and knocked his helmet off another time.
EDDIE ! EDDIE ! EDDIE ! Almost makes me want to put my #27 jersey on!
My boss, who is not a football fan, was hanging out at a Milwaukee club a couple of weeks ago with this really cool guy. Turns out it was Eddie Lacy. He was really impressed to learn that this humble, low key guy was a pro athlete.

All those spermhead highlights.
Heh, Eddie has his own card.
I have a Lacy picture up at work. It has been there since before the start of the 2013 season.
Lacy last year made the Vikings look like high-schoolers. I think they could have put all 11 on him and Lacy would have still found a way to the end zone.
Per PFF
Eddie Lacy broke 4 more tackles than Matt Forte after the catch despite having 60 fewer receptions.
I've said it many times before, and will keep saying it:
RUMBLE YOUNG MAN RUMBLE
floats like a butterfly
and stings like a bee
Eddie ****in Lacy. Thanks for posting that CJ.
Lacy focused on 'finishing runs' for Pack in 2015
Speaking of which happy 25th birthday to the Fat Horse today! Enjoy a Tripple Whopper on me!
Have a dozen Krispy Kremes while you're at it, Eddie.
Eddie just made NFL Network's Top 100 for the second straight year.
Last year 90. This year 60.
Video is pretty sweet.
Ted traded down to the bottom of round 2 for Eddie Lacy. That move indirectly led to Bakhtiari at 13th overall in round 4 ahead of Tretter at 26.
That worked out well.
