As frustrating as MVS can be with his drops, my recollection was he played his best vs Tampa in the NFC title game while many others played poorly.

Hopefully he can take that great performance and build on it.  He seems like a guy that had to work very hard to improve his hands, for others it’s more natural.  He’s got a chance to make some good money if he has a great year.  Guys with his size/speed ratio are rare even in a league with many great athletes.

He was the only receiver to show up in that game, the biggest game of the year.

Now by all accounts he is having his best camp to date.

In a "what-have-you-done-for-me-lately" league, I'd say it's time for fans to get on board with this guy.

I mean dwell on the past if you want, but this is looking more and more like a rising star here.

I concur.   He just needs to be avg on the intermediate stuff to be a top 20 WR because he is that much of a deep threat.    He might not get 1k yards this year because we have Adams, Funches, true slot guys,  and don't forget Lazard is still improving, but I see him being more efficient with less drops.

I think we have the best offense in the league again.     Weapons at every position with some depth, solid line and a highly motivated MVP skill level QB.

If Bahk comes back healthy, I would agree we would have the most talented offense in the league. They are elite at WR1, RB1, QB, and wherever E. Jenkins plays. They are above average at TE and RB2. With Bakh, that's 5 Pro-Bowl level players along with Tonyan and Dillon. Josh Myers looks like he's going to be very good at center. The rest of the line (minus Jenkins and Myers) to open the season is Billy Turner, Lucas Patrick, and Jon Runyan. I don't think there are any Spriggs-like turnstiles there, but those are guys you can go after if you are a DC. Put Bakh in place of one of those guys and all of a sudden everybody else looks better too since you can leave Bakh on an island and shift doubles to help one of the other guys.

If "second best regular season team" means anything.  If we're only judging by record.

That team was a one trick pony.  A thoroughbred racehorse of a pony but that wasn't enough.  Didn't KC show defenses how to slow them down -wasn't it getting physical with our WR's?  And our D struggled all season, even before Collins went down.   Was losing Cullen Jenkins a bigger deal?  Philbin's loss was the last straw but that team did not go into the post season with much momentum and they struggled vs NYG earlier that year.

KC realized the way to win was by time of possession.  Basically have very methodical long drives that end up in scores, and just don't give GB any time to score itself.  GB only had 23min ToP in that game, its lowest of the season.

You had to have elite pass rushers that could put pressure on with only the front 4 and beat up the WRs at the snap.

Even with that, the Packers had to make a lot of mistakes to lose. The score was 37-20 at the end, but the Packers gifted the Giants 17 points (and this will sound like the prequel to the Bucs loss this past year).

It was 10-10 in the first half, when John Kuhn fumbled inside Packer territory and the Giants got a FG.

It was 13-10 when the Giants scored on a 37 yard Hail Mary on the last play of the 1st half to the left side of the field instead of trying a long FG.

Then down 10 in the middle of the 4th, the Packers RB (Grant) fumbled after a pass reception and the Giants returned it to the 4 to set up the clinching TD to go up 30-13.

There were a lot of drops (Jennings dropped what would have been a good catch for TD). Rodgers got stip sacked on a play where Jennings was about 10 yards behind everyone for a TD on a double move.

Almost everything went against Green Bay in that game.

Sure.  There are big plays in in almost any game, especially in the playoffs, that swing the outcome one way or the other.  Take those miscues away (not all of them, every team has some) and it's probably another nail biter like the regular season game vs. NYG.  Point is the team lacked too much on D to be a truly great overall team, winning a SB or not.

Let it be known that after the game the Aaron apologists looking for a scapegoat, blamed the receive who did not drop a touchdown and who gained 115 yards...because they are so objective.

Where is this at exactly?

BTW, Schefter was right.

BTW, BTW, 10 million dollars still waiting to be used to address issues on this defense.
