Don't know if he did it on purpose, but smert to use the ref as a pick.

Only he knows for sure but I'm guessing he just cut back on the defender because he thought the defender had the long angle on him and the ref was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I think his initial 'cut' to the left was him just trying to get into open field.
To my eyes, after making the cut, it 'looked' like he recognized he could use the ref as a pick, and adjusted his angle accordingly.

If MVS can become Alvin Harper, I would be ecstatic

F*ckin' hated Harper. Such a back-breaker, just when you'd think the D had them contained. But yes, MVS playing that kind of role would be great.

25 had the angle on MVS from the outside.  He came way over from the opposite side of the field.  That's why he cut it back.

He was perfect in the role in Dallas. Then he got that big FA deal to be the man in Tampa. Didn't work out so well not having all that Cowboy TALANT around him.

MVS as the 3rd WR would be great even if he only caught a few passes a game. He's going to get you 20+ yards on most of those grabs.

I am pleased to see two productive games from MVS in a row.

Aaron’s thrown to him ten times over the past two games. Clearly #12 still has a level of confidence in him. Another strong game this week against the horseshoes, and maybe I start getting a little excited.

Lazar-D being back will hopefully help the passing and running game as he's a great blocker as well.

La' Zard may have a slow start.  Core muscle injury is still going to take a bit to overcome.

MVS will always be fool’s gold. He damn near dropped the bomb for the TD against Jacksonville- he just doesn’t have the hands. As a 4th guy? Cool- hell make some plays. Trust him on 4th down and 6 with the game on the line? At your peril...

Recall both James Jones and Davante struggling with drops and my guess it's more about confidence than bad hands. His lack of consistency and disappearing for stretches has been maddening, but he's actually provided pretty good ROI considering where he was drafted.

Sorry, it's bad hands and bad ball awareness.  He can work on his catching but the ball awareness thing isn't happening.  You aren't going to see MVS making back shoulder catches with much success.

His one grab where he actually ran across the middle is the one that gave me the most hope.  Outstretched arms, nothing but hands grab.  Other than that, Rodgers will need to put the ball directly in his line of vision.

It's not a horrible at all if a 5th rounder can turn into deep threat one trick pony.  If he's consistent enough he can at least pull defenders too.

The ROI statement is true but it's hard to keep in mind because that draft we took 3 WR's and all we have to show for it is this 1 trick pony.

I don't think you can compare James Jones to MVS.  JJ's only issue with drops were the routine/easy grabs that he'd lose in bad situations.  He always made tough catches in traffic but then later in his career caught pretty much everything thrown within his vicinity whether he was covered or not.  Some of those completions were all him and little AR.

Stats are awesome.

The sooner Lazard can get back to what he was pre-surgery the better.  MVS has come a long ways this year, but as we’ve said over and over again, he gets exposed when forced to be the #2 WR.  Lazard looked rusty yesterday, but in a month when he returns to form, maybe MVS can move to the 3rd slot where he isn’t used quite as much.

I think he’s fine as the 3rd guy but it’s clear being 1 of the top 2 guys, MVS just seems to be short of being a Championship caliber starter

This guy stretches the field -- Every time I see him go deep, he is running about 5 yards or MORE in front of the defender. I think he's the fastest guy on the field.

One of these days, Rodgers is going to let it rip & think he might've over thrown him, only to find out he hit MVS in stride for a long LONG TD.

He's a perfect #3. Really wish somehow Gutey could've jumped up in front of Dallas & drafted CeeDee Lamb. Oh well....Onward....

MVS - just needs to run Sluggo's & Fly's - He takes the top off the defense.

Kid is progressing. People threatening him or his family in any way need to fuck off.

Thankfully, his team is fully supporting him and the core of packer fans do not act like such a-holes.

Keep on keeping on kid.

Unfortunately even some Packer fans are brain dead idiots at times. How's MVS supposed to go to work with a clear mind to correct his weaknesses with that kind of crap? Sorry man, I get that he has turned it over but...death threats?? C'mon people. Thats really unfortunate being a Packer fan and I know you guys feel the same 😡😡🤬🤬

In the 1st half, saw some great WR blocking down field.

The 3rd qtr was one of the worst stretches by the offense since MiLF took over. It was McCarthy bad...

MVS is a solid 3/4 who can step up in spots. The quick slant in OT would have been a catch for Adams(obviously) or a 100% healthy Lazard. MVS rarely attacks the ball, not sure why. He's not small, and it looks like he added bulk to his upper body since '19.

An enigma wrapped in a riddle.
