2-3 times a game we should be uncorking that bomb to him as it doesn't seem like anyone can cover him, and if he draws the safety away others can feast.

Pass along the names and let us take care of this Yakuza style.
@michiganjoe posted:MVS fumble is similar to the Bostick botched onside kick- fans focus on it because when it occurred but plenty of other mistakes during the game just as pivotal.
I agree in terms of it not being a single play that lost the game, but it's much different in the scheme of things. MVS' fumble wasn't the result of doing something against the coaching staff's instructions. He ran the play that was called and just fumbled the ball on a hit. You could argue that he had poor ball security just as you can argue that running those types of plays to guys with MVS' body type is questionable. Those plays often are run to slot receivers or RBs who are used to running with the ball in traffic. But you can't argue he wasn't doing exactly what he was expected to do.
Bostick's botched onside kick was inexcusable because he did exactly the opposite of what he was supposed to do. He was supposed to go and block the Seattle kickoff coverage guys and let Nelson (positioned directly behind him for an easy recovery) cover the kick. MVS' mistake was more like if Nelson had missed the ball (which he never got a chance to make a play on).
A similar play was Ty Montgomery bringing the kickoff back from the end zone against the Rams a few years ago despite being ordered to not come out.
The Bostick and Montgomery mistakes are ones you cut guys the next day for (at least guys that don't have a lot of upside). The MVS fumble was just a play that happens sometimes. Heck, even the greatest receiver in NFL history fumbled away a chance to win a playoff game with poor ball security (at least that's what should have happened with the Jerry Rice non-fumble in the 1998 playoff game).
Let's please stop finding ways to recall the 2014 NFCC.

Always tuck the ball in the outside arm, away from traffic -peewee football. But he didn't have much time as the defender got on him immediately due to the failed blocking.
Think most agree that MVS is a decent 3/4 WR. He definitely has ability(speed) that can be useful as the game script unfolds. He's a problem when he needs to be relied upon(if he's the 2/3 due to injury)...much like a Corey Bradford or a Nelson Agholor. #Clank
Unlike Agholor.
No one should be subject to that type of behavior. I mean, WTF is wrong with people? Guess itβs the day and age we live in and social media doesnβt help.
The bigger question is why they called that play with MVS running it.

It could be to break a tendency that they usually throw that to Adams and he was on the other side of the formation. But sometimes there's a good reason to have a tendency.

Yep, once a quarter should be the low end of the bar for this. Just do it at the appropriate time. First down when you are out past the 25 yard line. 2nd and short is another great spot for it, especially if you mix in some play action.
Thought Shepard's fumble on the return was a more egregious mistake. Need to either get Ervin back or make a change because he's not cuttin' it.
yeah, not gonna miss Shepherd when he's gone
which one was 4th and 26? That was my fave.
I'm beginning to think there are some Packers fans who actually enjoy flagellating themselves with the the 2014 NFCCG. Maybe it's to make themselves feel better about current circumstances?

This is the net result from all forms of "social media".
It empowers people to bully, harass, stalk, and threaten, among other things, with little to no worry of repercussions.
First of all, Timmy, you're an idiot and I'm going to come to your house and kick your ass....
Second, does anybody know the details of the threats MVS says he received? If I'm him and the Packers, I'd want them investigated to the fullest extent, even if it took paying for a private investigation. Let's face it, people who make these threats aren't generally the sharpest knifes in the drawer and probably haven't hidden their tracks very well. Somebody needs to be charged and made an example of.
...on the other hand....if there is no actual evidence of actual threats (and we can all name plenty of "made-up" cases)---MVS needs to be severely dealt with.
Just my .02 cents.....and I'm still gonna kick your ass Timmy.
Take it easy Rocky.
After I'm done at Timmy's house....

Doesnβt AR make a habit of doing that on 3rd or 4th and very short???
Again, you don't pick MVS as the guy who is going to be taking a hit in traffic. That's not his strength. Lizard is that guy of the WR room.
@PackLandVA posted:A mystery wrapped in a riddle inside an enigma, but close enough.
Actually, it's a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma.
Irregardless, that ain't MVS. I stand by my original description of him.
@Fedya posted:Yeah, let's recall the 2003 divisional game instead.
To complete the misery, we can look at the interception Favre threw in the NFC Title game against the Giants from the end zone view showing every receiver except the one he threw to wide open.

I have no material evidence to show, but I called the Shepard fumble during commercial before they kicked off. More as a "seen this far too many times over the years and a shaky return man spells trouble in this situation." Colts are ball hawks and Shepard was ripe to F up in such a big moment. It was also egregious because the weary, suck defense had to trot on the field again right away. I think the case can be made that eliminating any one critical mistake would have won the game, whether it be the Shepard play or any other half dozen that turned the tide the wrong way. And after the death threat garbage, I hope MVS comes back and makes it fuel to the fire motivation. He screwed up, it was part of why they lost. On to the Bores.
People are blaming MVS for the loss? The Packers had no business being in OT. The refs gifted them that after they failed to come out of the locker room for the 2nd half.

Speaking of being 1 card short of a full deck, it's knives.
I think he may be accurate with knifes, but I'm not an English major.
Iβve never seen him throw knifives so do t know if heβs good with them or not, but I donβt think being an English major would help me know that.
You're all wrong. It's daggers not knife(ve)s.
This was from after the Colts game.
Since then: 0 targets vs Bears (Lazard returned v Colts); 2 targets/0 recpts vs Philly).
Then, yesterday. Nice recap from CHTV.

He's still a 5th rounder that is growing into a decent 3rd/4th WR.
(I like that they went to Austin 2x early in the game yesterday)
He's had some good games recently, I hope he's turned the corner.
Pretty sure every catch yesterday was all hands. Keep that up, no more body catches.
