Being able to clear up any controversy by saying "Put 'er in old vice" and everybody yucking it up is a definite plus.
Win a fucking Super Bowl.
1) Rodgers is a dope for all the antics
2) Gunt is a dope for having to have Rodgers kick him in the nuts to actively go after players to try and win it all. Oh yeah, and reminding him you can't replace a HOF QB with a reach in the 1st round.
3) MurphyBallz just plain fucking suck.
Shut up, get to work and win a fucking Super Bowl.

Alright.. The Elvis shimmy.. Did you wet your pants and pass out when he started gyrating on the Ed Sullivan show?
Point is, he is just a human like you and I. Stop prying into his personal life and attempting to worship another human.
I wouldn't really consider making observations about a public figure's relationships as "prying" , and I don't really worship anyone ... other than my wife, but fair enough.... and you still didn't get the time frame correct ...not Back Street Boys or Elvis ... The Beatles.
Individual awards are meaningless. Anyone who loses sleep over who gets them or who doesn't needs to reassess things.
The MVP has always been voted on by the media. 50 people cast their ballots and you hope the aggregate gets it right.
Personal opinion will influence just about everyone's vote on some level. Through history, guys haven't gotten or not gotten votes for the color of their skin, who they play for or just because the voter felt like it.
If there are people that don't vote for 12 for MVP because of his vax stance, so be it. It's just as arbitrary as not voting for him because he's white, has a ponytail or told Chicago fans "I own you."
Championships are the only award that matters...and that shit is settled on the field, not by votes.
I would enjoy watching Rodgers and Hub settle it on the field.
It has been a few years since I listened to the Packers Pre-game radio show but Hub used to be on every week to talk about all things NFL. Hopefully the Packers network tells Hub he is fired if he is still on there. I wish I had Pro Football Weekly or whatever it is called now so I could call up and cancel my subscription.

He has a segment every week. When not at a game, I listen to it.
Why don't you subscribe then call and cancel. That would show 'em.
^^^^ This would be called damage control folks.
AR; I mean, I wouldn't hang out with the guy, I think he's weird, but I wouldn't call him a a 'bad guy'...he is very generous and cares about his interests...so its a stupid comment by hub. if he would have left it at all the other stuff, I think he could have gotten away with it. he's opened a can of whoop ass. if ar didn't already hate shitcago, boy howdy...
Is this cancel culture working in Aaron Rodgers favor?

Makes sense
@packerboi posted:I made a terrible mistake Tuesday with my Aaron Rodgers comments. It was completely my fault. There is no one else to blame, and I am here to try and apologize. My column is unlocked and free for all to read here:
I thought Hub's apology (linked above) was somewhat empty, at least to AR. What he really seems to be apologizing for is putting a spotlight on the other 49 AP voters. I think he's really looking for cover from/for those other voters. I found this part of the article ironic:
"Iāve apparently unleashed a small army of self-styled social media and talk radio experts who have no clue what theyāre talking about to challenge the quality of the voting process and would attempt to invalidate any vote or thought process that doesnāt agree with their own."
Hub doesn't like when people who don't know him make judgements about him or anything he's involved with. Pot. Kettle. Black.
Hub certainly won't be getting my vote for MVP.

I believe he does a show on the Sirius XM NBCSports channel. I think Florio is on that one too.

Hub's apology was designed to do one thing...cover his ass and not be stripped of his MVP vote by the AP. He's gives zero shits about apologizing to 12.
The vote is supposed to be confidential until after the contest. You don't go on radio and basically politick why you're not voting for a guy.
But what do you expect? He's a Bares fan.
+His apology may have meant something if he had ended it by saying, " I have asked the AP to remove me as avoter and appoint another person to vote this season and in the future." Never happen tho.
Still a chance he gets stripped of his vote?
Sorry, Chongo, I can't agree. The awards DO matter to these players. To be recognized as the greatest among the great in an ultra-competitive league is something a player will cherish their whole life. The aw shucks I only care about winning stuff is a veneer. Why would Paul Hornung or Leroy Butler be stung about not being in the Hall of Fame (I know Hornung is in now)? Cause they certainly won a lot.
Rodgers got it right- heās a media pariah because heās not vaccinated.

He would have been better served by handling it like Carson Wentz did rather than misleading and spreading dangerous misinformation.

Everyone that needed to know knew. The media and fans are not in that group.
Can we not go down this path again FFS?
No, probably not. People are still posting Rice's fumble FFS.
About a month ago I heard Hub and Dan Bernstein on the score talking about AR and it blew me away how much they were dumping on AR personally. THey all but said piece of crap. They gave him all cred as a QB. They said top 5 all time easy. When this came out about Hub it made too much sense.I cannot remember ever hearing him talk about another player in this manner. I am also not sure exactly why it matters so much to him?
I have heard Hub on the radio for well over 20 years. I remember him on the Bears broadcasts. He is a very good friend to Wayne Larrivee. I believe he is on the Pro Football weekly show with him weekly. This may be out there already, but I wonder what their conversation on this subject would be like.
