What a darn shame

vikes 1st rounder Christian Darrisaw's recovery from core muscle surgery reportedly "continues to be an issue," which forced him to see a specialist regarding his return. Coach Mike Zimmer recently described the injury as one β€œnagging all the time," going as far to say the rookie has been "one step forward and two steps back." The Vikings re-signed veteran Rashod Hill as insurance but will likely have to lean on him by default in Week 1 (and for an unknown period beyond that).

Great article especially for the comments.

I hope the purple asshat gets intubated. I do not want him to die, as he has been such a great gift to the Packers. If he does succumb, I hope his coffin is a clear, plexiglass cubicle. I hope the League rules that vaccinations are mandatory and those not getting them will not play AND will be fined. Then, when the NFL Player Association is forced to defend these anti vaxxers they step up and say the players have to get the vaccinations to protect themselves, their teammates, the rest of the League and the game, itself. The League cannot afford to not have  empty seats for another entire season. They will not and should not let an uppity, idiotic player dictate how he will behave, in this League, during this deadly, variant controlled, pandemic. Get the fricking vaccinations, Kark! Spare us your pious and privileged bullshit.

In all those comments about "choice" is the fact no one mentions or seems to grasp you could kill or maim other people because it's a highly contagious virus that ravages the body.

It's the sole reason I choose to be vaccinated.  That and I'm not a POS selfish fuck who isn't afraid of something that's been around for decades and saving millions of peoples lives from multiple diseases.

But the reality is not getting vaccinated is about your politics.  Call a spade a fucking spade.

Even the usual bs from their fans are few.

Last weekend I was at a family reunion on my wife's side.  Her brother (a Packer fan) married Ilene (a Viking fan).  When Ilene and I met, I congratulated her (and the Vikings) for winning the offseason super bowl.  She laughed and asked, "What happens when a Packer and Viking fan marry?"  I didn't know, so she replied with "world peace".  I couldn't get her to debate me.  I must be losing my touch or something.  Either that or she is accepting the inevitable.
