And guess who's probably going to end up with that maintenance bill? Oh, they'll foist it off as being "a stream of income," but it's not compared to what the cost is. The team and taxpayers have paid in every year to a fund that's currently at only $16 million.

Vikes should change the team name to the 'Pigeons', open up a taxidermy shop and sell the product, (wearing tiny purple jerseys), in the pro shop.

They could repurpose the empty trophy case for display.

They should be able to find plenty of dead pigeons, laying on the ground outside the stadium, for their taxidermy shop. I thought they already repurposed the empty trophy case into Kark's plexiglass, Covid fighting, coffin. I could be wrong on that, though!

The rebroadcast of the NYG-vikings 2022 play off game was on NFL Network, last night. Always fun to watch the vikings lose! 4th and 8, Kark throws the ball 3 yards to a covered Hockenson, who proceeds to get tackled.  vikings turn the ball over, on downs, and NYGs run out the clock, for the playoff win. Refs even gave the vikes a 1st down, while Kark was being sacked, but Kark managed to get the ball away, for an incompletion. The ref said it was roughing the passer. Even Pereira was perplexed by that call. I  remember watching the vikings fans, in shock, realizing their season was over, after that 4th and 8 play. They should have had a hint of what was in store for them, after their vikings lost to the Packers, 41-17, in week 17. We'll see how the NFL schedules the vikings-Packers games for 2023, in a couple of days. GO PACK, GO!!!

That was a beautiful game. Almost better than 41-donut because it happened when the Vikings won the division, and because it was such a typical Cousins play. Three yards and a cloud of synthetic turf on a fourth-and-eight play. Best. Decision. Ever.

It was a masterpiece. My favorite play of the entire season.

Maybe the vikings will, once again, force Packers' fans to buy tickets to another game, if they want to watch the vikings play the Packers, in Minneapolis, to generate some extra revenue to cover those pesky maintenance repair costs. They did that, in the 1990's, when vikings games were blacked out, in the Twin Cities area, due to them not selling out the Metrodome every game. Packers fans who went to the vikings/Packers games were forced to buy tickets to the upcoming KCC/vikings game, as well, to help sell out those seats. Pathetic!

They do that to their own fans too.  Whenever I try to buy group tickets for my students at the university I work for in Minnesota, if we want the Packers/Vikings game we HAVE to buy tickets for another game.

Seems like the shelf life of Z is about a year before teams grow tired of his self centered act. 3rd team in 3 years.

Can't say I am disappointed he's no longer in the NFC North.

Decent player in his time with the Pack, but not any team feared him while he was in Minny.

Why you happy he out of the North? You fear him?

Anytime the Vikings lose a Pro Bowler that weakens their defense, it's never a bad thing. It has nothing to do with fear. And to make it even better, they got just a few day 3 picks in return for him.

Another day, another crime in the Vikings family....

Reggie Fowler was sentenced to 75 months in prison Monday in New York after admitting his guilt in April 2022 to five federal criminal charges, including wire and bank fraud and conspiracy to operate an unlicensed money-transmitting business, prosecutors said.

When the Feds prosecute, a person's goose is cooked.
Usually to well done, sometimes to a crispy char.

C'mon! Give a guy a break! He was probably just trying to raise funds to pay for the roof repairs to the Stapler!

That's usually because they have concrete evidence of a crime.
