Paul Allen is such an idot. Purple idot, at that! Betting that Lowry works the right side of the Packers OL, exclusively. Bakh and Jenkins would hand his ass to him, every down, on the left side. Tom, Yosh and Runyan/Rhyan will do the same thing,  to Lowry, on the right side of our OL.

There was plenty of wreckage when the Northwestern duo of Tyler & Deano started for years along the Pack's D-line, but the wreckage was rarely wrought against the opposing teams.

PA is the ultimate homer and because the Queens' defensive line is so devoid of talent they were forced to scrape the bottom of the barrel and sign Lowry, well Deano is suddenly a good player in PA land.

I'd expect Deano to be just about as effective in Minnesota this season as former Packer CB Chandon Sullivan was in helping the Queens to the 32nd ranked D last season.

Meanwhile, the guy who repeatedly ran right by Deano and Tyler for 3 TDs and 163 yards in a Queens win at Lambeau just 3 years ago has been flushed down PA's memory hole because he no longer plays for the Purple.

I'm hoping the new DC in Minnesota finds so little talent to work with, that it will take several drafts and FA periods to bring back a semblance of a Defense, there.

That is closer to happening than you might think. Their 2022 draft is looking like a solid defensive bust. Their first two picks were a safety and a CB, Cine and Booth. In their preseason game this year, they said Cine launched himself three times at ballcarriers and found himself on his back three times; the knock against him was his size. Booth committed an obvious roughing the passer foul that was waved off and gets beat often. They may get one defensive starter in a LB out of that draft.

As for 2023 draft, they only six picks and spent three on D with not a peep being heard in camp about any of them.

It's no wonder they were desperate to renegotiate to keep Hunter for another year.
