Phillips, 44, was driving a Tesla Model S that was stopped around 9:45 p.m. Friday on Interstate 394, Minnesota State Patrol Lt. Jill Frankfurth said in a statement.

Stealing catalytic converters is running rampant in the Twin Cities.  Maybe he thought somebody was trying to steal his.    Oh wait...................well he is a Viking coach.

So how does that work? Clearly UNDER the legal limit but can you still get a ticket for driving "impaired"??

Maybe someone that knows a Sconnie cop can answer πŸ™‚

Ain't no cop but if you are under the limit there's no citation.

Caveat, there's lower limits for drivers under 21 or commercial drivers.

BTW, the Vikings suck!

It will be interesting to see what happens to Cousins in the future. MN was letting him play out his deal and was probably going to cut him free after this year. Now with the Achilles, does anyone else pick him up? Yet given MN's options at QB, do they go with Mullens next year or resign Cousins? They have the rookie Hall, but he hasn't gotten on the field and they must know what they have in him considering they went out and got Dobbs immediately after Cousins' injury. And Dobbs looked like a good bet to be signed until he reverted to form...

There's definitely a lack of elite QBs in the league now, and a dearth of good backups as well.

Dobbs is that bad all of a sudden... πŸ€”

That's pretty much what happened. He was going along, scrambling around like Tarkenton, running it for TDs, tossing a few TDs, and then... Earth to Major Dobbs. Just like that he was a turnover machine again. MN is his fourth team in five years, and his career stats include 15 TDs and 13 INTs; in five games with MN he's hit 5 TDs and 5 INTs. When he came into the Atlanta game almost at the very start and then started the NO game, his ratings in both were 101; since then, it's been 80, 54, and 50. His longest pass play in those five games was 29 yards, and he's taken 13 sacks. And it wasn't exactly a murderer's row of teams: Atlanta, NO, Denver, Chicago, LV (where he was replaced by Mullens and the Vikings won 3-0).

Yep Mullens is the man, a real points generator. But 3 for the win and he’s in. 😝

Have you watched Dobbs? Fun and exciting, but you never know what's going to happen. As his stats show, it's about 50-50 if you get a TD or an INT. If I'm a fan, it can be fun to watch. If I'm the coach, I'll go with the guy who can safely get me three and lean on the D. (Of course, "GB and defense" is an oxymoron. We haven't been able to lean on the D since Fritz.)
