Per PFT:

"Vikings receiver Jordan Addison has been arrested for suspicion of DUI.

Via the Los Angeles Daily News, Addison was found asleep at the wheel near LAX and was arrested.

Police were dispatched at approximately 11:10 p.m. on Friday, to respond to a report of a disabled vehicle blocking lanes. He was operating a white Rolls-Royce.

The arrest happened at roughly 11:36 p.m. ET, after a DUI investigation. He was released two hours later.

Last year, Addison was cited for speeding and reckless driving prior to training camp.

The incident happened less than a week after Vikings cornerback Khyree Jackson was killed in a crash that, per police, might have involved alcohol."

Those queens sure know how to draft high caliber players

He's a viking, alright!

I did not verify stats, but this seems to track:

Which NFL teams had the most arrests since 2000?

According to FlashPick's update of USA TODAY data, the teams with the most arrests were:

Minnesota Vikings: 60
Denver Broncos: 56
Cincinnati Bengals: 54
Jacksonville Jaguars: 45
Kansas City Chiefs: 43
Cleveland Browns: 42
Tennessee Titans: 40
Seahawks/ Buccaneers: 39 (tie)
Indianapolis Colts: 37
Chicago Bears: 36

You ARE the father!!!

Justin Jefferson received the final ruling regarding his ex-girlfriend, Andrea Galea’s, child. The judge’s final verdict declared the Vikings wide receiver as the baby girl's father. Earlier this year, it was reported that Jefferson was putting pressure on Galea to abort the child.

According to Daily Mail’s Alex Raskin, Jefferson and Galea have been given joint legal custody of the child. The couple wanted to get the paternity test to prove their claims in the lawsuit. After over six months of arguments and debates, the NFL star has been ruled as the father.

Justin Jefferson is a father now

Andrea Galea accused Jefferson of pushing her to abort the child during her pregnancy in 2023. Daily Mail’s report suggests that Jefferson’s attorney refused to comment on that accusation. Galea chose to give birth to the child and filed a paternity lawsuit later. Jefferson and Galea’s child, Stella, was born in December last year.

The couple agreed on a paternity test. She was trying to get financial support and healthcare coverage for her daughter from Jefferson. But the WR wanted to prove that the child wasn’t his. Daily Mail says the two parties have agreed on an interim child support obligation. None of the details about the agreement have been revealed.

Daily Mail revealed that Justin and Andrea must follow some rules per their agreement. Judge Aldo J Russo has ordered the parents to remain in contact with each other about the child. Jefferson face-times his daughter when Galea recently went on a trip to Italy.

Further, Daily Mail’s report suggested that the couple is not allowed to use intermediaries. They are required to talk directly with each other in a civil manner. Communication about the child's health, education, and well-being should be non-derogatory and non-harassing. Both parents have to respond to the communication within six hours of receiving the message.

Justin Jefferson and Andrea Galea’s relationship history

Justin and Jefferson dated from 2019 to April 2023. Their love rekindled after a while, and they reconnected. Andrea claimed that Jefferson impregnated her in April 2023. Jefferson filed a lawsuit in January to prevent Galea from publicly sharing information about the child.

Andrea Galea hasn’t shared any photos of the infant since May 5. The NFL star included his conversations with Galea about handling pregnancy in his file. The chats showed Jefferson asking Galea if she was okay with giving birth. He even asked her if she took any pills to end the pregnancy. Justin even called Galea annoying and blamed her behavior for changing his number.

I think they'll beat the Giants to raise hopes and talk about a Superb Owl but after that, it looks rough for them. He-he.

There's some push for McCarthy to start rather than Darnold, so that will be a distraction. Addison was arrested for suspected DUI on July 12, and the previous year on July 20 was cited for cruising along I-94 at 140 mph. Fourth-round pick Khyree Jackson and two friends die on July 6 in a three-car crash. (BTW, props to the Vikings as they are paying his full signing bonus, $827,148 to his estate and will also cover more than $20,000 of funeral expenses for Jackson.)

The Vikes may want to skip over the month of July in future years. Yikes.

Why is it that you so often see teams now that are favored by a small margin (like the Giants by 1.3 above) but then also carry a less than 50% chance of winning? Makes no sense to be but I'm also not a professional degenerate gambler.

I likely know even less about gambling than you do, but I would assume teams with more total fans (Cowboys, NY Giants) often end up with point spreads that make them look like better teams than Vegas thinks they are because Vegas knows more money will come in on them than the opposing team because their fans will put money on them to win. The sports books just want to have the same amount of money come in on each side so are assured of profit.

I am a Professional Degenerate Gambler. ðŸĪ‘ 💰

You nailed it ...Balance the money on both teams....sports books reap profit.

I search for value bets....like the day after the Super Bowl Packers were 25-1 to win it all. I don't care what happens this year, that's a great value bet and a bet I make 100/100 times.

Currently 16-1/19-1 for Packer odds to win it all. That's a substantial drop from Feb 12, 2024

Mehki Blackmon. Third-rounder out of USC in 2023, appeared in 15 games last season, starting three: one interception, eight passes defended, three tackles for a loss, one fumble recovery.

In addition, one of their top ST guys (NaJee Thompson) who happens to also be a CB, injured a knee and is on PUP but they don't think it's serious. He's the guy who submarined into the knees of Reed on a punt and then into Toure, who muffed it; Thompson doesn't even try to imitate a tackle to wrap-up; he just torpedoes into the PR's knees. (Ballentine also just let Thompson run the field without making any attempt to slow Thompson down. Still, I wish they'd look at a rule that you can't hit a PR at or below the knees unless he's taken steps on the return. Too often guys are stationary when catching punts and on those bang-bang plays the returner is a sitting duck for major knee injury.) The Vikes had to resign Duke Shelley who was on the roster for the Bears for three years, then the Vikes two years ago, got cut, and last year joined the Rams. The Vikes have Shaq Griffin starting at CB. In short, their bad luck in the defensive backfield continues.

Couldn't happen to a nicer team!!

Jordan Love, Packers capitalize on depleted Vikings defense

Can’t say he didn’t learn from his mistakes, he wasn’t speeding or driving recklessly.
