Will Aaron Rodgers play vs Bears ?

I don't think its time to start Icing each others Cookies around here yet ...

I guess it will come down to who can run the ball, run time and then get TD's not FG's... and probably who can get their special teams to make some plays.

 

Do the Pack have enough left in the tank to do it?

 

Thanks a lot AR/MM. it was going to be a ho-hum watch with no expectations ... Now I'm giddy with anticipation and expectations of winning. (I swear to god this team has given me more gray hairs then my kids have )

Hope Rodgers doesn't put too much pressure on himself.  It's not all up to him.   O-line needs a big game.  Sounds like Cobb will be back Sunday too.  Another nice return.  Stinks about Jolly if it's true.

Funny listening to Sparky (?) on 1250 ESPN Milwaukee today on my way back into town who is convinced because MM never said Rodgers was "medically cleared" that he strong armed GB into this decision and eventually won out. Said GB has another Favre on their hands who's calling all the shots now. Had to turn it off. Just STFU and stop trying to increase your ratings.

I can not wait to see a line up of Jones and Cobb in the slot  on the left and Jordy in the slot and Boykin and the right side.  Lacy in the backfield with Rodgers at QB. That would blow Trestman's mind.

Those guys on 1250AM are idots and at best admitted Bares fans.  I do tolerate Bill Micheals show simply because he figured out that you have to own up now and again, and he has a few decent guests and info through Imig.

 

All he is trying to do is have his Rome moment.  Similar to such a talant inviting an ex-qb on and get in a pseudo brawl, praying for some media gebins.

 

The media used to have integrity.

Then the media had some integrity as 'facts for information' began to fade for an 'edge'.

Now the media plays mostly two games.  Who can be first, or who can be the greatest idot. 

We know the results of the latter.

At least in that case we know England would lose. 

All we need now is a five game winning streak - starting this weekend.  All on the road - just like the last 6 games of 2010. 

Pretty sure they won't be all on the road.  Hard as it may seem to accept, if we win Sunday, we host at least one of the games.

A question that is jingling around in my head is this:

 

Would you rather have a (supposedly "ready") Aaron Rodgers starting at QB -or- would you rather have a 100% healthy Eddy Lacy?

 

Rodgers at 100% no doubt it would be him.  Lacy at 100% could run over the Bears all afternoon.  So who do you choose?

 

I am hoping Lacy can play along with Rodgers on Sunday.

Giants and Bears I believe

Lacy AND Starks should run through the Bears.  AR will rip them up all afternoon on play action.  

How soon they forget. The dismantling of the Giants, the nail biter against the Bears.

And who will pressure Cutler inquiring minds want to know. No Matthews, someone needs to step up and put pressure on him. That is my concern with this mediocre defense, the loss of Clay.

 

Rodgers will probably be a bit rusty early on, so they need to keep pressure on Cutler until AR gets the 'feel' back of playing in an NFL game.

 

Go Packers.

This D isn't mediocre, it simply sucks

 

with Rodgers back though, they can score with any team and have one of the deadliest offenses in the league. More importantly, they should be able to have long, sustained drives with Rodgers back, keeping this D off the field as much as possible

 

 

Cutler.

I'm a big believer that confidence and familiarity can go a long way and the bottom line is that Rodgers has the Bears number.   He does not lose to that team very often and even if he's at 80% that's still better than Flynn at 100%. 

 

I don't expect the Bears to roll over but I really like our chances with #12
