I live in Chicago. This year, I'm paying $35 for a rooftop antenna that can reach Milwaukee. I spend that in the first two bloody marys when I have to go to a bar.

$17 Bloody Mary's. Wow, I don't even think Graham Elliott Bistro charges that much. You need a good Irish pub.

The Directv person I talked to in Customer Retention said that starting for the 2017 season there would be the option to order NFL ticket for specific teams. That would be nice.

Was just at Sobelman's last weekend! Got the Baconado, which comes garnished with 6 bacon-wrapped cheese curds. Also, not sure how widely known this is, but DTV has a single-week option for $50. If you're in a close market like me and will only miss a few games, that's another option.

Don't worry. They're not stoooopid. Expect "dynamic" pricing. Ordering for Tennessee Titans? - $9.99 Ordering for Green Bay? - $59.99 Wait & $ee.....

Re: 2016 NFL Ticket...
I essentially got Sunday Ticket for free last year (a half season for something like $15), even though I was still under contract at the time. They also threw in three months of premium channels (barely watched them, would have rather just paid $0 for Sunday Ticket). I fully expect to get it for free this year, or I'm just going to cancel my service and go back to getting the games online. Live sports are literally the only reason I'd ever have any form of pay TV. Football broadcasts are...

I don't know if this has been posted already but I can tell you if you know somebody with NFL Sunday Ticket via DirecTV you can use their login and stream it on any device you wish and throw them a couple bones every season, or Bloody Mary's.

A bloody mary garnish for the bloody mary. But that only has french fries and olives for a garnish. Where's the celery?

Re: 2016 NFL Ticket...
I would love that option. One thing I am still a little surprised with is that you can't order one game at a time on a pay per view type of format.

Re: 2016 NFL Ticket...
GBFAN, you are probably correct on that. But, I think of it this way. I live in an AFC market (near Cincinnati) and there are times when the Bunguls are on CBS and we get the Browns, Steelers, Ravens, or Colts on FOX if they are playing an NFC team. So I go out to some local watering holes where I get a tiny TV off in a corner while I am surrounded by the local fans (and god help me when it is the Steelers vs. Bengals) so I would be happy to pay $50 because by the time I am done sometimes my...

Speaking of the Titans, if you're coming to the game, we are having a tailgate party at the stadium, plus we are having something downtown the night before, hopefully with the Packer road show.

Re: 2016 NFL Ticket...
Personally, that would be fine with me. This past season, I spent full price for the Ticket out here in AZ. All but 1 Packers game was televised on the local channels. So, I would have paid only $50 vs. the entire price of the Ticket.

Re: Packers Tickets - Buy/Sell/Trade/Questions
If you don't have a ticket before the game just show up. You might get lucky. However, knowing that it's the Packers in LA and the stadium holds about as many as my HS stadium, I'd have a ticket first. Going to be a Packers home game.

http://www.espn.com/nfl/attendance Click that. The Chargers were dead LAST in the NFL in attendance last season, don't waste your money right now. Good Lord, you could probably walk in for free at game time.

Re: Packers Tickets - Buy/Sell/Trade/Questions
I tried to buy the day they went on sale and it was already sold out, but prices are trending down so far from $700 to as you noted near $200. I will wait. We attended every Packer game in San Diego even the preseason one and there was usually 20,000 Packer fans there so you can do the math. With the success of the Rams, Chargers are not LA’s favorite NFL team. I have a price alert set and hope to see it for about $150.

Re: Packers Tickets - Buy/Sell/Trade/Questions
Getting a ticket to a Chargers game is extremely difficult. Their temporary stadium only houses 27,000 and they have more than that in season ticket holders for the change over (or at least did at the time of the planned move). The fact they are last on that list means nothing. The temporary stadium is less than half the size of most every other stadium in the league. They get 5,000+ over capacity with temporary seating and standing room and it’s still not enough.

Re: Packers Tickets - Buy/Sell/Trade/Questions
It's a Packers game in LA. Tickets are going to be tough to get, especially with the HS stadium seating numbers. The entire stadium could easily be filled by Packers fans alone. Tickets are going to be $200 +/-. Mark my words.

2016 NFL Ticket...
Thank the football gods the season will be starting soon. I 'm asking if any poster here has attempted to negotiate the cost of a season's NFL Ticket since they were bought by Century Link? I attempt to get my price lower & the only deal offered was 6 months at $35.99 = $215.94. I told the clerk to just cancel my subscription.

Packers Tickets - Buy/Sell/Trade/Questions
If there's already a "catch all" thread, or if mods think this isn't necessary, feel free to lock/delete. But thought it might be useful to have this topic. Anyway, wondering if anyone has any hooks, tickets, contacts, etc. for the game against the Chargers in LA on November 3 . It's the late afternoon game (obviously) and fairly certain I'll be out west. Not in LA, but close enough that I could make a day a weekend out of it. Would only need 1 ticket. SeatGeeks has them available starting...
