The kid has just never fulfilled his potential....or was vastly overrated to begin with. He was rated as the number one high school receiving prospect in the country when he signed with LSU. Every major power offered him.

From his draft profile: Needs a greater commitment to nuances of route-running in order to improve his separation. Tends to tip his hand early allowing cornerbacks to match his patterns. Stalk-blocker with marginal aggression and sustain after initial contact. Sounds like Janis 2.0

DuPree didn't get much playing time after taking the head shot and leaving on the stretcher in the Eagles game. Tough break for a rookie 7th rounder.

Actually the Purdue guy is pretty good. I was researching him on Thursday before the draft. Funny that TT took him. Dupre looks like potential good value here.

Dupree was the number one ranked WR in the nation coming out of high school. Hoping that this lack of production was all on not having a QB

You'd be surprised how many names had pronunciations included in the old AP wire. And how ****ing loud the wire machines were. More seriously, he could pronounce his surname like Jacqueline du Pré, only with the accent missing.
