Ngata is a solid player (has been consistently over his career) but don't expect him to be 'Suh's replacement' - not the same players
Hell of a run stuffer, and not a bad pass rusher. I don't see the problem.

San Fran's playbook: Hand it off or heave it deep.
Or take Donovan McNabb's approach and just heave.
Wow that was a lot of trades. The big one though was Grahma to Seattle. Has Seattle not learned it's lesson? Unger is a top 5 center and once again, ignore the fact that 1st rounders are cheap talent. You don't win Super Bowls by paying your players market value. They should know that since they won with Wilson, Sherman, Thomas and Wagner playing on super cheap rookie deals. And I keep hearing idiot pundits say "risk free for the Seahawks, they can cut Graham after years 1 with no cap hit". Uh yeah, except the traded yet ANOTHER first rounder and a pro bowl center. And I think you'll see Graham was helped considerably by Brees at QB. Wilson plays a much different game, one not based on timing, precision and accuracy.
So $9m a year for Graham....anyone know what the Hawks cap looks like after this? They still need to pay Wilson and Wagner a ton of money.
Niners gave Torrey Smith more guaranteed money than the Pack did Randall Cobb. Love it
I guess it depends. If Schneider thinks Cameron Erving will be there at the end of Round 2 and Maxx Williams will be gone by pick #31, it may work out. The trade looks decent for both teams, depending on the draft.
Regarding Ngata, he's no where near the player he once was. Remember he was also suspended last year for PEDs. He's a decent player but not close to the one he was 3-4 years ago and not one you trade a 4th and 5th rounder for. He'll be fine, but hardly a guy that will scare Sitton, Linsley and Lang.
Okay, I'm not gonna assume Chip Kelly know what he's doing anymore.

@SheilKapadia: Only 7 active QBs have attempted 1,700 passes and averaged worse than 6.7 YPA. Two (Sanchez and Bradford) are on the Eagles.
More about Graham and Wilson.
He completed his last pass at the Super Bowl.
Or take Donovan McNabb's approach and just heave.
I see what you did there.
Have fun catching Peyton Manning's wounded ducks. Especially in January.quote:Daniels to the Broncos is a good signing. He'll at least try to block and he's a decent receiver.
The bears are experiencing it too with Urlacher, Briggs, Marshall, Peppers, Paea gone and Cutler on his way out. Tillman may take a walk too.
New Orleans is in cap hell and there will be more changes there. Jimmy is just the next domino to fall. Eagles are in the lead, but they do have competition
Rumint.
@PackerUpdate: Can't imagine Rams swapped 1s in Bradford/Foles trade, but that's what Philly writers are saying.
@smartfootball: Honestly if Eagles move up to #10 in the draft *and* get another pick for Foles/Bradford swap, that's a pretty solid deal.
@nfl: "DeMarco Murray is now receiving interest from the Philadelphia @Eagles." - @RapSheet
@smartfootball: "We're afraid to tell him it's the Rams" MT@975TheFanatic Sal Pal: Talked to "Nick Foles family - he is...pumped, overjoyed he's out of PHI"
If Kelly uses those picks to move up and get the guy he really wants (probably Mariota), then he did alright, provided he wins -- now. If he loses after all of this, he might as well go back to OU. And Philly fans will be in h*** for several years...
Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of fans.
@OfficialAJHawk agreeing to terms with his hometown team, the @Bengals on a 2 year deal
Great news! Happy for AJ

That's terrific. Hope it works out for him.
Happy for AJ. Happier for me that he is playing somewhere else.
Class guy, AJ Hawk.
I wonder if he took his skates with him?
'Nuff said, Cap.
If nothing else, Bengals will get a very good teammate who's durable and never misses games. Good for AJ, best of luck to him.
WTF?!?!?!?!
Packers? PACKERS? RT @JasonPhilCole: Four teams in running for Revis besides the #Patriots: #Jets, #Packers, #Steelers and mystery team.

Bills have reportedly asked about Revis. Steeler's aren't regarded as a serious player.
Marshall Newhouse agreed to a 2-year, $3.25 deal with the Giants.

Eli Manning just requested a trade.

Dare to dream, people
Why are the Packers always listed as being in the running for every high priced/big name free agent?
Please tell me these professional sportswriters do more than simply look at which teams have the most cap money available and toss that list out into the twitterverse just to chum a a few extra gullable followers.
There is no way in the BLUE HELL the Packers are going after Revis with these numbers....
Revis's reps have told teams they have $48M for 3yrs on the table now, with $40M guaranteed. My sense if that is from the Jets...

I very rarely remember the Packers ever being mentioned when it comes to a big-name, high-priced free agent.

Jets is the best guess. They'll do whatever they can to keep him away from the Pats

.
Because TT or no one else from GB will refute the "rumor". Therefore Revis' agent can put shi* out there claiming GB is interested when he knows TT won't say anything to the contrary and drive up the price of his player.
Colts are about to sign Frank Gore & Andre Johnson
I can't believe Hawk would diss the Packers like that by signing with a different team.
Colts also just added a geriatrician to their payroll.
