Montez Sweat declares "I'm not losing to Green Bay this year!"

I guess he plans on sitting out those 2?

"rivalry has been heavily lopsided in the past decade-plus".... Decade plus? Try 3 decades!

"I'm not losing to Green Bay this year. We've created a real rivalry over there."... A real rivalry? You've created? What has Chicago done the past 30 years to help this?

Caleb Williams = Combination of Favre & Rodgers

"Every Bears fan wet dream"

"Caleb will be better than Jordan Love from game 1!!"

Won't that be interesting to see.....

The TBSS will have a very good draft, most likely graded as an "A" post draft (which doesn't mean much). Don't know if Caleb Williams will be any good, I lean to think he'll be at least decent.  And the TBSS have made some nice roster additions in the past year.I suspect they'll be one of more improved teams in 2024.

I want to see Justin Fields win the starting job in Pittsburgh and become something close to what da bares fans hoped he would be for them.
Then they may finally realize that Chicago is where young QB's careers go to die.

Oh man nothing would be sweeter.  I married in to a family with some of them living in Chicago and the other half Ohio State fans,  I know what did I do to deserve that one?

Anyhow nothing would be more awesome if Fields grows in to a real QB and puts up crazy stats and Bears fans have to think about the draft capital they spent to get him and gettting so little in return.

I don't think they'll bat an eye if Williams is what everyone says he is.

I don't think they'll be much of middle ground outcome with Williams. He's either going to be baby Mahomes or the next Jeff George (a guy with all the tools that lacks people skills and everyone hates).

Or get this: he could be Justin Fields 2.0

I think he'll better than Fields.  Hopefully not little Mahomes.  He's clearly got the skills to be very good and has shown a much better ability to read defenses and throw with anticipation than Fields did.  We'll see if he has the all the other qualities needed to be consistently very good.

As always, time will tell. I just hope I'm around long enough to see how it all unfolds, especially in the NFC North with the Bears and (probably) Vikings new QB's. Right now I believe the Bears only have 4 draft picks, the 2 firsts a 3rd and 4th. Would not surprise me if they trade down from their 2nd 1st rounder for more picks.

Let's see how long it takes for Williams to demand a trade from da bares.
