Packers sign Tony Brown. This was said about him on Coonys Draft scout:

02/27/18 - 2018 NFL Combine: Athleticism Key for these Prospects: Tony Brown, CB, Alabama...A standout in football and track at Alabama, Brown has silly speed, becoming the school's first All-American in the 110-hurdles since 2002, also setting a personal best in the 100 meters (10.27). His football career in Tuscaloosa didn't go quite as planned, but you can't teach that type of speed. - Dane Brugler, NFLDraftScout.com
01/08/18 - Intense Alabama defensive back Tony Brown was all business at media day on Saturday, two days before the fourth-ranked Crimson Tide faces No. 3 Georgia in the national college football championship game. What about that shirtless pre-game warmup routine? Nope, not talking about that. Those post-Sugar Bowl comments? That's in the past. All Brown wanted to discuss was beating down the Bulldogs. He was so determined to steer interviews away from perceived distractions, he screened questions. Brown greeted a steady stream of reporters with a question of his own: What are you going to ask? Anything not about the game was pretty much off-limits. "What's important is this game we're about to play on Monday," Brown said. "I'm going to keep talking about how we're going to dominate on Monday. I don't want to talk about anything that happened last Monday. My mind can't be on that. "That'd be living in the past. I'm going to talk about what we're going to do and we're getting prepared to do, not what we did. You can't live in the past at all."

The 6-foot, 198-pound Brown, who is seldom made available to reporters, gained attention after the Sugar Bowl win over Clemson by saying among other things he has viewed himself like a "silverback gorilla" since he was a kid, with an aggressive alpha male personality. He's often the first player out of the locker room in pregame warmups, his chiseled upper body uncovered. It shows the results of his workout regimen but also, he said after the game, can be "an intimidation factor" for opposing players. - AP College Football

Boris, the above was a cut and paste. Am I allowed to do that? There also seems to be more than one   “Tony Brown” .

So, is this the Tony Brown we got??  He sounds amazing right??

Fukk Seattle. Thomas gave his all for that team his entire career and they **** on him. Classy operation by the original slime ball Pete Carroll. I’d still trade for Thomas because as soon as he heals he’s going to give a DPOY caliber performance to show them they were wrong.

Thomas could still be had in free agency.

Although, you have to wonder about his long term health given two broken legs in 3 years.

Seattle not the model franchise by any stretch with how they’ve treated some of these guys.

That's Jake Kumrow's job.

Relax dude, Beasley is white too.

This isn't New England. There's only enough room for 1 starting white WR. Now if Beasley is a great ST gunner then he could take Janis' old job.

This is why I almost always side with the player holding out.   If he was under performing his contract they would cut his ass in a heartbeat and he is out millions but he is expected to honor the same contract when he is over performing.  That is some buuuuulllsheeet.

If Ha Ha is going to make comments to Wilde that he doesn't expect to be in Green Bay next year I think Gute should work out a trade and oblige him ahead of schedule. KC might be willing to give up a 2nd for him this week.

Haasan Reddick on the outs in AZ

Still an explosive athlete, perhaps Pettine’s simpler scheme would work for him? Reddick at WLB on running downs and move to OLB on passing downs.

So Wilks kept the 3-4 but runs a **** ton of different zone schemes.  I could see how that would be hard for a dumdum.  Possibly a situational OLB?  Sounds like they aren't using Deonne Buchanan either.  Says he's too small as hybrid LB/Safety.

LOAD UP UP THE CART!

Dix, Matthews, Joe Thomas, Mark Roman and a 7th rounder for Reddick, Buchanon and a 3rd rounder.

Maybe Rodgers too.  Prima donna dickhole that he is.

I'm actually serious about Reddick.  I don't think it would make OLB worse that's for sure.  I'd be curious about Buchanan as well.

Like this idea. Put Tramon back--he'd do a better job.

What are the chances of the Packers making a move before the trade deadline?  Read an article today that predicted there would be much more activity than the norm as this year's trade deadline approaches.  Would love to see GB pick up an edge rusher.  Thought about Jerry Hughes as the Bills seem to be the type of team that would look to unload salary and pick up additional draft picks, but he's really a 4-3 DE that wouldn't fit in with the Packer's 3-4.

The Raiders should shop Gruden. He took a promising team built by McAdoo and turned it into a mess. Now it will take more time to right the ship again. If GB had another older, almost washed-up WR, we could make that deal and add Cooper.
