Somebody should be putting together a story as to what went south with HHCD. We really needed a S, we were able to draft him, he looked very good as a rookie, and now everyone wants out.
When you say everyone wants out, I was struck by one telling thing Montgomery said in the other article about his fumble: "I don't fully understand what my role is right now, what I'm supposed to be doing, how I'm supposed to help this team." Although it was amid an interview about his probably costing the team the game, it made me ask if the communication between coaches and players is really there. I would hope that every player has an understanding of what his role is by this point of the season.
Everybody is out to get McVince, even his own management and organizational skills.
I've always been an MM supporter, but I am really starting to see some cracks opening on this team. Communication, accountability, etc.
He's not a bad coach. Just time to move on and I wish they would've gone with a clean sweep. We can already see good things from the defense and GM but they kept a major part of the dysfunction.
communication is there, its the thick heads to either put it off on somebody else (responsible) rather than take it themselves. he knew exactly what to do and he didn't and everyone saw, so he got caught with the hand in the cookie jar, and he doesn't want to own it. i think they are getting better, these guys are not rocket surgeons, but the stuff is dumbed down enough, at some point you have to own it and 88 is not. so to move on from it, he has to own it and apologize, maybe to the team and inside, we may never hear it.
Eagles acquire Golden Tate from the Lions.
Pats were looking at him.
Really? Lions giving up already? What was the bounty?
Third round pick per Schefter
Patricia is a Proud Guardian of the Upstate, a completely separate but equally infuriating chapter of the Fraternal Order of Macho, to which the Sons of the Monongahela also belong.
He would like the make-up of his WR room if Golden Taint were his draft pick. Clearly, he is going to get that corrected.

I am going to make this a separate topic.
Fowler goes from Jags to Rams for a 3rd and 5th. was hoping the Packers got him.
Why didn't we is my question.

jesus, what is happening here. lol turning the page...who's going to be back there? i was in favor of landon collins...
Holy smokes, Gute trade half the roster today?
WAS D is developing into a really good unit. We'll see how HHCD does there.
Wait, wasn't it the WAS game where he was having a conversation with their sideline right as the ball was being snapped?
If nothing else both moves send a message. You're all in or you're OUT.
3rd rounder now worth a 7th. Amazing we got that much for him.

I LOVE THAT!

Crap - was really hoping we'd ante up and get him.
That was the plan. On to plan B.
Unless we are trading for the entire right side of our OL, there isn't any trade that's going to make us exponentially better.
Gute is just stacking up pelts for future drafts and cutting salary. I'm glad he got rid of Ha Ha, who flashed some promise, but was nowhere near worth being a first round pick in retrospect.
Gutey turning over Ted's 1st round pick into a 4th and Ted's 3rd into a 7th.

When I saw the story of several players saying Ty threw a tantrum after he was pulled out of the game, it made me question the leadership over there. When players start talking as anonymous sources to throw other players under the bus (deservedly or not) to me it shows a lack of organizational leadership. You keep that in-house. Someone like BB would not tolerate that from his players. It makes me feel like MM may be starting to lose the locker room.
The Texans got Demarius Thomas for a 4th and a swap of 7ths, but the Cowboys got Amari Cooper for a 1st? Sounds like the boys panicked.
Or Jerrah fell in love with Cooper, as he is known to do with players.
In the spirit of "Protect the Franchise," how many offensive linemen did the Packers acquire since the draft?

We'll see if HHCD actually tries to play in Washington or if he watches plays go by him like he did in GB. If his participation goes up in Washington, why didn't he actively participate in every defensive series in GB? Maybe HHCD will learn how to tackle in Washington, instead of bouncing off players and thinking that is enough to bring them down. Just making an INT every so often isn't good enough. He has to learn to play the entire game. I can see GB moving Tramon to S and playing Jackson or Breeland at CB in Tramon's spot. Tramon was getting beaten as badly by the Rams as Brice was by Minnesota this season. Why they had Tramon covering the fastest WR on the Rams is beyond me. Same goes for Brice and Diggs.
I was surprised that Gute only got a 7th rounder from the Ravens for Montgomery-- and that being in 2020's draft.
Pretty sure every team in the league knew Montgomery was toxic at that point. The return sucks but at least it was some kind of return on a guy who couldn't remain on the roster.

I'm surprised they got anything. After all the bad press Sunday through Tuesday this guy was close to untradeable.
The Ravens could have just waited a few more days and claimed him after he was released. They just did this to avoid competing with other teams for a waiver claim.
