As was the missing link ahead of your's. If someone is primed to be offended, no explanation is sufficient. You can no more reason him out of his offense than you can argue him out of a religious belief.

Kareem Hunt is Ray Rice 2.0

Apparently ole' Rog didn't learn anything from not viewing videos of NFL players beating the crap out of women.

This happened back in February. Now TMZ has the video.

It's ugly.

Bumping this since the Chiefs cut Hunt tonight and we had a discussion already going. . How the hell TMZ got this done when the NFL couldn’t or wouldn’t dig up this video is beyond me

Ole Rojj placed hunt on the NFL exempt list. Meaning another team can’t play him if they decide to pick him up. And I can’t imagine a team even trying to sign him

Commissioner's Exempt List

What Is It? The list is a vehicle for putting a player on paid leave while the league conducts an investigation into allegations of impermissible behavior. The player does not count against the 53-man roster but continues to receive most of his salary.
What Can/Can't Player Do? If signed by another team, Hunt can't play in or attend games. But with the team's permission, Hunt can be present at its facility on a reasonable basis for meetings, individual workouts, therapy, rehabilitation and other permitted non-football activities.
How Long Can Player Remain On List? For as long as the NFL takes to conduct an investigation and determine whether discipline is necessary. The point is to keep the player off the field, and out of the public eye, until an objective determination can be made.

Don't worry, they knew. But there was no way they were going to suspend the 2017 rushing leader.

Link

Of course there is no link. But you will never convince me that Goddell and the rest of the higher ups didn't know.

Kareem Hunt is being punished because the world found out, not the Chiefs. If TMZ can find the video, the high level NFL detectives SURELY could’ve found the video.

And now, no surprise, the Tyreek Hill tales are coming back to surface.  Which some say, video or no video, are even worse then Hunt's.

Why do I feel only the NFL could fu** this up, this badly. Mess.

This 1000X over. There is no way the Chiefs didn't know - and they know about Tyreek Hill. Just like the Ravens knew about Ray Rice. Just like the Cowboys knew about Greg Hardy when they signed him. Just like the Patriots knew that Aaron Hernandez was a major head case when they drafted him.

NFL teams invest millions of dollars in guys and probably have private investigators talking to anyone who has ever interacted with these guys going back to middle school.

The hotel wouldn't give them security footage? Give me a break. They didn't want to see the footage.

What is it with NFL running backs getting violent off fhe field?   OJ set the bar but other members of that dirtbag fraternity include the one and only Lawrence Phillips and Ray Rice and Montee Ball and Adrian Peterson and Lesean McCoy.

Former Packers' RB Ahman Green had a few allegations of domestic abuse thrown his way as well.  I don't know that he was ever convicted, but he didn't exactly sound like a choir boy.

I know there was something after he was no longer in football with his daughter but never heard anything what the outcome was.

Again, I was just keeping the gag going.  I don't think DH13 was offended nor do I think H5 or myself are klansmen.  Jokes people.  Let's get meta.

Trust me.  I'm not apologizing for shit anymore.

GHWB....who's is happier for his timely death....Roger, The Chiefs, The Packers/MM/AR or DJT?   Lots of stuff that usually would be on the front burner will get pushed aside for a day or two.

By the way, RIP, he was a good man. And a great American.

I'm a Democrat and I wish he would have been reelected in 1992. He was taken down by Pat Buchanan (a truly terrible human being) who tried to primary him by going way to the right and by Ross Perot - who ran a laughable campaign with a bunch of pie charts- and was able to siphon off enough votes to get Clinton elected.

GHWB was actually taken down by the public perception of a bad economy (it was in recovery at the time). Unlike his son, he was a pretty good president who's finally getting some recognition for it.

RIP

But Perot was right about NAFTA and the deficit

What deficit?  Current Congress and Pres don't care about the deficit.  Except when it comes to Social Security and Medicare.  Which we all paid far and it's our money, not the Congress'es.

GHWB was a great American.  A hero as well.  Naval aviator in the S Pacific during WWII including a harrowing episode when he was shot down and ended up in the drink.

Bush Sr. was quite the athlete back in the day.  Helluva baseball player.

He also served the country with honor and dignity as CIA Director and later as POTUS.

Of course, I’m sure the current Idot in the White House would say otherwise but **** him.  Drain his swamp ass.

By the way, I lean Blue but respect and admire what 41 did for the nation.

So, they think this guy is better than Rip was?

That one has me scratching my head also. He's listed smaller than Ripkowski (and Kerridge). Would have been nice to see Rip get his fourth year of service in.
