Yikes......this is bad. Super bugs are not good. Prayers and positive thoughts for him.
I have a colleague who had a skydiving accident last July. He wound up with his tibia poking through his jump suit. He has had 19 surgeries so far due to infections. The infection was finally defeated but 4" of tibia were whittled away. I would have assumed this to presage amputation but it's a different world now. He wears carbon fiber scaffold that is screwed to bone above and below the break. He walks with crutches. At his last xray about 1.5 inches had regrown. He is anticipating being back to normal by next July. He will never play football but he said he will jump again.

I've watched that 46 times hoping she makes it just once.
PS. The gal in blue looks like Cam Newton going after that fumble in the Super Bowl.
I didn't notice at first, but I'm pretty sure she vomits.
Makes the Cam Newton reference even stronger
Also brings McNabb into the conversation.

I think that's a necklace, not a puke stream. Which of course dignifies the vignette.
I thought it was the strings/laces for the hoodie.
DH13 posted:Why is it this seems more common the last several years. He isn't the first player we've heard of having infection issues post surgery. Maybe it's just more common in general than I thought? Didn't Finley have infection issues after is knee surgery?
My wife works in a hospital. It's what's going on. I blame Al Gore AND global warming.
Surgical suites are designed to have a positive pressure envelope around the operating table to keep out infectious organisims. That is until they block of the room exhaust vents with equipment, computers, boom boxes ect.
It's scary as hell....

Saw that, and thatâs a tip of what super bugs are out there, very scary indeed.

We got a 4th round pick for that guy.
In the last 2 years, Ha Ha went from looking at 4 years and 40 million to more like 2 years and 7 million.
Even at that pay you could argue heâs a thief.

Poor guy.
I was watching NFL Network as the games were being played Sunday and it stunned me how often HaHa was just taking bad angles, looking relucatant to engage, etc. I predict he'll be sitting home next fall just like Eddie Lacy.
what? people with two good eyes that watched HaHa decline and saw how ineffective he was were right? and the talking head pundits all had their heads up their rear ends?
yeah, that was a way easy call, and thanks for the 4th round pick!!
It's quite obvious HaHa isn't really interested in playing football anymore. He's out there collecting a paycheck & when that runs out, he has a degree in criminal justice & his HaHa Hero foundation.

He's not about destroying that property by throwing his body all over the field.
You dummies don't know what you're talking about, HHCD is still PFF's #7 Safety in the NFL this year.
Safety play must really suck league wide.
50 drunks in a bar can see he's the #7 safety
Packers sign a new OL from Ravens practice squad. Put Bell on IR.
Carson's having a hard time staying healthy in the NFL. Now a fractured back. Foles will be a FA in Spring. The Eagles will be in cap hell as the highest team over the cap heading into 2019.
Sources: A battery of tests revealed that #Eagles QB Carson Wentz has a fracture in his back. The team did CT scans throughout the season, but none revealed the fracture until now. The team is still determining if there is any risk of continuing to play. No surgery necessary.

He was a disaster at GB too. Just needed to be on an East Coast team to expose him to the lazy national press.
A perfect example of how sports reporting is done these days.
A team starts playing well, wins a few games, and national media immediately crowns their asses.
Then when something happens, and they get that crown knocked of...crickets.
The Redskins were a pretty good team with Alex Smith out there, but I never thought they were a threat to win the NFC or the Super Bowl even when healthy. Without Alex Smith and Colt McCoy, they might not win another game this year. At this point, they're not too much different than the Pack was last year when Hundley was the QB.

Might be the curse of being a QB named Carson?

I hope they dont win again this year, it'll make the 4th rounder we get from them for HaHa that much better.

Alex Smith's broken leg might be what gets the vikings into the playoffs instead of sitting home.

Good!!! Let them get clobbered in their first game!
Jags had signed him to a long contract. I feel this is just the start.
Can we say fire sale?
The #Jaguars waived former FA signing Barry Church, who was healthy and inactive last week. They also waived TE Niles Paul from NFI. Jax activated OL Josh Wells from IR.

I wonder if Ramsey has been enough of a divisive lightning rod that they might move him.
Packers claim Kapri Bibbs, a RB from the Redskins. Final piece of the puzzle.
Tough name. That should strike fear into the heart of opposing defenses.
I wonder if his nickname is Oshkosh B'Gosh?
Likely means Aaron Jones season is over.

Kizer handing off to Jamaal Williams the next two weeks or dropping back to pass with Spriggs and McCray in protection isn't must watch TV?
Nope. Saw that chit show last year.
Donât know if they will actually do it but itâs time to go into tank mode. Two entirely loseable games if they play it right. And a loss to Detroit guarantees moving up at least one spot in the draft.
It would also mean they have passed on the other bald guy as a HC candidate. Not that he had a legit shot anyway.
I don't agree with tanking. They are paid to play football and win. Everyone do your jobs.
The draft is a crapshoot and one position this way or that doesn't guarantee nothing. Losing on purpose is a poison. Take pride in your team and job.
That is all I have to say on that.
