To punt
I mean Reggie Hammond
Hey, where are all the punters at?
The old two punter roster. Takes me back to the days of BJ Sander.
O.K. I'll say it. The Packers should sign Bruce Irvin who was released by the raiders.

I LOVE THAT!
Is that the reason we signed a new punter too? Gee wiz, it was only ONE bad punt!
Hokey Pokey time!
Rumor on Twitter is that this punter was signed because Scott’s wife is due any time now with their first child.

Somebody has to be inactive.
Maybe it is some new punt play with two punters deep in punt formation. The defenders will not know who to go after!
Either way we’ll still get Zooked in the end.
Here's an interesting one in Gregg Williams' first game as Browns' HC: Cleveland safety Damarious Randall is a healthy scratch today against the Chiefs, per source.

Schefter calling it a healthy scratch but he was listed as questionable on the injury report with a groin issue.
Ravens' RB/WR Ty Montgomery is inactive today.

Man all those great players that got away. Maybe Dix will make up for it.

He shouldn't have knocked her up in February.
Valentine's Day baby
Ray Guy has 2 kids
Can they punt?
If Geronimo is really headed to surgery I gotta think there is another move coming soon. Kumrow or Davis?
Kumerow
Oh. Coaches can do this? Did someone tell this to McStubborn?
#Zooked
The #Lions announced that coach Matt Patricia informed special teams coordinator Joe Marciano that he had been relieved of his duties. Another coaching move in-season.

He probably wasn't sitting properly in his chair when he asked a question.
Zook would be picked up in minutes....
Gute's not fu**ing around. Whitehead is outa here.
#Packers place WR Geronimo Allison on injured reserve, release S Jermaine Whitehead & sign CB Will Redmond to the active roster.

#Packers GM Brian Gutekunst said he wasn’t sending a message by trading Montgomery and Clinton-Dix. A few days later he cuts Whitehead following a silly ejection. There are guys on the 53-man roster who contribute far less than those three. Sure seems like a message to me.

Have to think there was more done/said by Whitehead that hasn't been made public. I thought the ejection was harsh just based on what was shown in the broadcast.
I wonder if he was a little too vocal in his opinions following the Dix trade?

You could be right. I think they were pals; I think Whitehead drove HHCD to the airport.
* Thanks for the correction GD, that was Brice.
Bruce Irvin cleared waivers today. He's now a free agent. Just sayin.

Mike Clemens was on the Fan and said going back to a game against the Chiefs, Whitehead had made some boneheaded plays and penalties and this was yet another example.
But considering that they don't have HHCD, Brice and Josh Jones can't follow assignments, and now Whitehead is cut? This still wasn't some whimp decision by Gute.
Pretty hard to believe he isn't sending a clear message that rogue/dumb ass behavior no longer go around 1265...

I believe that was Kentrell Brice.
I'm curious, with the current structure, how those decisions are made. Does Gute tell MM that he wants to cut Whitehead and MM says OK? Or does MM tell Gute to cut him and Gute says OK?

I don't think MM is signing off on any of these. I think these are Gute's decisions from start to finish. MM hangs on to everyone much longer then he should (see Sanders, Slocum, Clements, Zook, etc). IMO, if it was up to MM, Randall, Monty, Whitehead, etc would all still be around.
This has the fingerprints of a new GM who's cutting the fat and sending a clear message about accountability.
No way the staff is not in on these moves. Gute knows that if they are not, it will significantly limit who he could get as candidates if he replaces MM. Most coaches are not going to want to take a job in which they have no input on personnel moves.
