Redskins having trouble with starting LT Trent Williams, who wants to be traded. Wonder if they might like Josh Jones? They could use Safety help. Jone's speed would be enticing to them, along with his size, at a position that remains their top need.

Williams has made the last 7 Pro Bowls. At 31, would make a great veteran backup, assuming WAS takes on some of his salary in a swap. Willams has $11M and $12M in last two years of his deal there.

WAS would get a young high ceiling Safety, and we would get an older, proven veteran OT. Both have two years remaining on their deals. hmmm...

Why would they some of his salary? Too expensive for a backup

He would be Minnesota's dream player, but do they have the cap room?

Yes. It would turn out to be a salary dump for them, trading a 31 year old player drafted in 2010 for a former 2nd Round pick from 2017 in Josh Jones. There is value there for WAS, as opposed to an outright release, which he has also requested. It happens. You don't see that as a possibility? That's OK. Could be another conditional pick.  Just found it interesting both teams have players requesting trades, and both teams have needs at those very same positions.

The Redskins really do need another Safety, and the Packers really need to protect Aaron Rodgers. Do you think Bulaga will stay healthy all season?

Just imagine how much worse this take would be if Trophies didn’t watch so much tape.

Lost me at "young, high ceiling safety".

They could only swing a 4th for Dix.  Williams could be 75 and still have more value than Jones.

What if we threw in Ruvell Martin, Robert Ferguson, and the rights to Joe Thomas...I'm assuming we own his rights at this point?

I'll raise you a Mark Roman.

Pharoah at 6-6 260 4.79 is a load. More in-line blocker and reminds me a bit of a young Mercedes Lewis. Not a lot of experience though.

We should know today if Josh Jones is going to skip mandatory MC. I'm kind of hoping he shows up and realizes his error. He could develop if he just gave himself a chance.
