Lol Jaire Alexander is probably in the top 5% of anyone that can do what he does in the world.  Gary is probably 10%.

It’s insulting and honestly lazy to suggest they aren’t smart enough or can’t communicate.  Yet morons like MLF and Barry get a pass. Why?  Perhaps it’s because they are white.  Flame away but if a black dude coached like those two morons they would have been canned many times by now.

We love our underachieving white guys in GB.

So Jaire’s coin toss dumbassedness happened because MLF and Barry suck at their jobs but they’ve managed to keep their jobs because they’re white?

It’s all making sense now.

That might be the dumbest shit you've ever written... and there's certainly plenty to choose from.

What I saw in my latter years in eduction was increasing difficulty with students being able to take verbal information and physically act on it. I really noticed this with directions such as "go down this hallway, take a left at the next hallway and the classroom is on the right".... I'd find the kid lost in another part of the building. This is basically what players have to do. They get the call (verbal) and have to physically act upon it.

That kid wasn’t lost.  He was wandering afeter getting high in the bathroom.

I often wonder why it isn't standard for teams to have a neuropsychologist on staff (unless it is), both to assess and aid a player's learning, as well as to address and support a player when emotional or personality concerns come up.  There is so much focus on the physical aspect of the game, but it's the mental aspect that rows the boat.

I'm pretty sure they have some sort of psychologist (sports psychologist?) on staff.  Quay credited one with helping him this past off season, which is why he got into meditation.

It's obviously helped quite a bit.  He's probably the most level headed guy on the team.

None of these guys are stupid.

Rashaan Gary is dyslexic that's not stupid, it's a learning disability that can be fixed with proper teaching techniques.

It's important and I'm pretty certain where all the "communication issues" on the defense stem from.

No, some of them are plain stupid.

Here's what I hope happened.

MLF meets with Jaire to get to the bottom of WTF his problem is/was. After hashing it out it comes down to he can't stand playing the Barry scheme anymore.

MLF lets him know they are not giving Barry a new contract. New DC is going to stress this or that, whatever that might be. But here's the deal. You made us look bad and we are going to have to sit you out a game as punishment. But going forward this year the defense is going to do X, Y and Z. Barry has been given strict orders. Come back for the Bears game and get us to the playoffs.

Like I said, what I *hope* happened.

. Jaire won’t tackle.

He plays when he wants to play....don't you forget it

6 solo tackles

1 TFL

2 PD

When he wants to play.....DJ Moore has no chance. Jaire might get a pick 6 if Bears aren't careful.

There's another former Packer DB (who started his career with another team) and was a rising star in the NFL.  After a few star-studded seasons, he had some issues with the coaching staff (specifically the HC) and was labeled a "malcontent".  After some injuries and the label of being a malcontent, only one team was willing to sign him to a long-term contract.  And what a signing it was.  I don't think anyone considered that guy a malcontent.  He just expected excellence in his coaching.  Sometimes perception is not warranted.
