The principal has already replaced Slocum and Dom, and it’s now up to the board to decide if the principal should be fired. Or, maybe the principal sees it coming and leaves before the axe falls. MM didn’t look so hot after that Bears game...

McVince replaced The Wizard the same way I have the power of flight when I get on an airplane.

Didn’t realize you were inside the organization with direct knowledge of how things went down. Are you Patty? Did MM  tell you to go back to the kitchen and make him some cookies?

There's no sense in arguing things like putting Reid in McCarthy's place in 2014.  Nobody knows what would have happened.  Reid may never have gotten them to that point.  They may have won it all.  He may have overdosed at Kroll's and died.

Here's to McCarthy not sucking today.  Onward and upward.

Agreed.  Just using him as an example.

Let's get McVince some lemons and do this thing!

Better manager.  Better play caller.  He had solid assistants like Clipboard Dougie as well.

Put Reid in place of McVince during that run after the Superbowl up to 2014 with Rodgers at the helm.  There is no way the same outcome occurs.

Having lived in Philly area for 25 years, I don’t think this take on Reid is accurate. After Jim Johnson died, there were many questions about Reid’s assistants. He always was a bad game manager, especially with time-outs and in the 2 minute drill. When he left town the common headlines were “Good Riddance - don’t let the door hit you in the ass.”  When Philly hired Doug Peterson - there was no one (locally or nationally) who thought it was a credible hire. They thought Jeff Laurie simply did Andy Reid a favor. There were a ton of questions about Peterson’s play calling in the AFC game that Kansas City blew.

I've made the comparison in the past that Reid a burned out and moved on just like McVince should do.  BUT, Reid did target Johnson and Clipboard Dougie just won a Superbowl with a backup QB.

The difference is Reid left, McVince is still here.  That's the ultimate point.  The only reason why the game day comparisons came in was the mention of what kind of talent Reid had around him during his height in Philly vs. McVince in Green Bay.

Reid is a better coach.  Complaining about one call or when he used timeouts vs. watching this team completely bottom out without Rodgers are two different animals.  Put Rodgers on that Philly team and they have multiple Superbowls.  Put Reid on that Packers team and they at least have one more ring.

Weakest comeback ever.  Like really ****ing weak.  Like, "who would you choose?" weak.  You continue to delude yourself.

What’s weak is you always presenting uneducated opinions as 100% facts. You blast any stats that don’t support your argument, stop pretending you KNOW what’s happening behind the scenes. You’re always talking about “scheme” and MM needing to scheme to get guys open as if you know anything about the offense, know what the play call was, or even know what routes guys were running...or are you going back to watch the all-22 tape? Or that you KNOW what’s going on behind the scenes with the front office or know anything about the the leadership structure. Gimme a break.

I just think he's cratered out.  A lot of similarities to Andy Reid with the exception of Reid being a better coach.

Andy Reid:

Regular season: 184-120-1 (.604)

Postseason: 11-13 (.408)

SB record: 0-1

MM:

Regular season: 121-70–1 (.635)

Postseason: 10-8 (.556)

SB record: 1-0

You know how much those numbers mean when McVince has Rodgers and Reid had Wormburner McNabb?  Diddly squat zero.

It's not even a question.  If Reid were available after Sherman was fired it wouldn't even be a question as to who everyone would be clamouring for.  We would be having a different conversation.

SO FOR EVERYONE ON THE BOARD, IF YOU POST OUT OF CONTEXT, USELESS STATS IT MEANS NOTHING.

Take away Rodgers, McVince is nothing.

The Packers should make AR the head coach, offensive coordinator and GM. Then they’d win every SB.
