Now get a Kick A__ DC!

I'd be more than fine with him as the OC. He seems to be the anti-McStupid face. And, Rodgers absolutely loves Joe.
I don’t think he’s the anti-McCarthy, I think they’re similar and that’s why they work well together. It sounds like Philbin took a lot of work of MM’s plate, maybe he felt like he was confident Philbin would get stuff done and that allowed him to keep up with the big picture. It seems like he’s been micromanaging too much the last few years, probably because he wasn’t getting what he needed from Clements, Bennett, and AVP.
Didn't post he was anti-McCarthy, wrote he was anti-McStupid face. These two are not the same people. One, makes sound decisions, the other calls timeouts allowing the opponent time to score.
Seems like McCarthy wanted to have the feather in his cap to say he was the one that groomed Edgar Bennett into this great coach...sometimes people can only be successful up to a certain level and that is it - over-promotion happens all the time.
There are 3 types of people.
Those that make things happen (McCarthy).
Those that watch things happen (Capers).
Those that say, "what happened"(McStupid face).
Packers get WR Coach in Colt's Hostler. This was after Edgar Bennett said he would be coaching elsewhere next year.

They're on a mission from God.
In the five years that Joe Philbin was offensive coordinator with the #Packers, the offense ranked 2nd, 8th, 6th, 9th and 3rd. In 2011, Aaron Rodgers set the all-time NFL mark for single season passer rating.

I think MM's level of trust with Philbin helped make the O a success. If he can come back and they have the same level of trust...

Now we just need to bring back the Dom Capers Gravedigger believes he is and wham, Superbowl!

MM's IQ just shot up 30 points.
It would hilarious if both the Pats coordinators got HC jobs elsewhere and then Belicheats bolts for New York. That would really be a team in disarray.

Only if he stands on the field and tells each player where to go like a real coach would, am I right?
Exactly what everyone has always said!

I always thought Blue Swede was singing: OOOGA-chucka

Make Our Offense Great Again
I take liberties.
BJ Thomas don't need no stinkin' caveman sounds.
Really like the Philbin hire or rehire? Much like Paul Chryst in Madison the guy seems to have a knack for getting the most of the players on offense. Rodgers is also a big fan which can't hurt.
Wonder if McAdoo will still be returning as QB guru?

Belichafe and co are probably a perfect storm in New England. He's an epic douche nozzle and they'd likely need to blow up any team he went to because he generally doesn't allow any ego to rise to his level. Brady's biggest strength may be he's a very good player who will take the abuse.
He apparently didn't like actually having his heir on roster though and that brought things to a head.
Cheatriouts are going to rumble right through the AFC and right through the Purple Frauds. They relish this kind of stuff. Spygate, Deflategate. Doesn't matter.

That's why I take with a grain of salt all of the nonsense coming out of NE. They have always liked to create some off-field distraction so the BB and the team would have something to "rally around" during the playoffs. Hey, it works for them.
Vic’s week?

I think we will be stuck with the Pats for awhile I think Kraft, Belichick. and Brady sold their souls to the devil years ago. I completely agree that they love this kind of controversy and it wouldn't surprise me if they started some of it on purpose.
How long before Brady gets busted for HGH or some kind of scandal like Barry Bonds?
Given the golden horseshoe up his PR reps' ass, my prediction is that he'll get ALS and then we'll all have to feel sorry for ever disliking the guy.

Very likely will get covered up.
Bengals in negotiations to hire Teryl Austin as DC
Matt Nagy (KAN OC) new Bears HC.
Hello Fangio?
Word is they want to keep him in CHI.
With Matt Nagy expected to be the #Bears head coach, the next move is to lock up DC Vic Fangio. He's still under contract until Tuesday.
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) January 8, 2018
Takes two to tango.
You would think Fangio would prefer being the DC in Green Bay than Chicago for multiple reasons, but guess we'll know soon enough.
Probably numerous opportunities for Fangio. His contract expires at midnight so we should know sooner rather than later.
I really thought that Shurmer would be the guy in Chicago. Maybe they want to keep Fangio so bad, they felt they couldn't wait until Minnesota was done and risk losing Fangio in the interim?
What does Min status have to do with Fangio staying or leaving?
Fangio just got turned down by his current employer for a promotion. He'd have a chance at a fresh start in GB along with going to an instant playoff contender and if he does his job, a potential SB contender.
Not to mention his job is a hell of a lot easier when a HOF QB and arguably the best player on the field happens to play for your team. He would looking at an offense likely to produce 28-30 ppg. Not exactly a tall order to be a DC when your offense could produce like that.

So the DC market falling into place. Austin replaces Guenther in Cincy. Guenther goes to Oak. Pagano, Fangio, Spags still out there
