No thanks, I'll assume you had a point. Which is irrelevant now since the Packers are hiring Pettine.
OK, just thought you may want closure.
I don't know why but this intrigued me

How dare the Raiders hire a guy they want for this job!
Ok...Ok...We'll Interview THREE guys we don't want

Now that sounds like a Very Stable Jennyus type of trade.
Bengals signed Alex Van Pelt as quarterbacks coach, Daronte Jones as secondary coach and Matt Raich as defensive assistant.

Aaron Rodgers to Andy Dalton.
The Red BB Gun will again be the Red Rifle.
Good for AVP. See what he can do without McCarthy looking over his shoulder.
Jon Gruden adds another key hire to his Oakland Raiders staff - former Packers OC Edgar Bennett is being hired as receivers coach, according to league sources.

Jesus. Edgar must of been pretty butthurt.
Receivers coach is perfect for Edgar in Oakland.
He'll be a well sought after coach when he turns Amari Cooper around to stratosphere status.
He was a decent OC in Green Bay. It's just time for a change.
Good Luck Edgar!
Our receivers blocked their a$$es off when Edger was coaching them.
I thought he was a great receivers coach and I bet he does a great job in Oakland.
Sad news. Brad Childress, the coach so beloved by tens of fans, is calling it a day.
Have a kick ass retirement, Brad.
Really sad to hear that the iconic Keith Jackson died last night. He was the soundtrack to so many of our Saturdays.

Late breaking news, Brett Favre is driving him to the airport.

Loving Chidress is like watching one of those movies that's so bad it's unintentionally hilarious.
Take it easy on Brad. Just think if the Vikes had gotten a GOOD coach!
Edgar was an excellent WR coach and I remember a lot of GB players giving him props in that position. I wanted him to stay in that capacity, but it would be awkward to step backwards at the same organization. He’ll do fine in Oakland.

"Maximum Overdrive".
Patriots’ defensive coordinator Matt Patricia is likely to become the Detroit Lions’ next head coach, league sources told ESPN. More on Sunday NFL Countdown.

Local reports saying it's basically a done deal.
Fine by me, as long as he doesn't bring Belichick with him to Detroit.
Out of curiosity. Has anyone from the Belichick coaching tree ever gone on to do anything as a HC with another team ?
#Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels has indicated to potential assistants to wait for him. The belief is he takes the #Colts job, as he's the clear favorite, sources say. Indy's other finalist is Mike Vrabel.

They like all coaches are only as good as the QB they have.

I would prefer that MM try to "match wits" with a rocket scientist. Most of those guys I know don't know squat about football.
Mularkey out in Tennessee.
LMAO....well he lost to the Patriots in Foxboro after they had a week off.
Understandable....
Obviously ownership wanted him gone. I'm guessing he'd be gone even after winning it all.

However this one does.
Wonder if Patricia will keep rolling with the hipster beard and backward hat?
McDaniels is a virtual lock to be Colts next head coach. Patricia going to Detroit. Shurmur heading to NYG. Leaves AZ/TEN needing HCs...
— Jason La Canfora (@JasonLaCanfora) January 15, 2018
I wouldn't be surprised to see McDaniels wind up in Tennessee. Better team and more certainty at QB.
