I'm guessing there will be a lot of forgiving happening tonight in Rice household.
Rice done in the NFL.....guaranteed
Marching orders from Goodell after cluster**** of biblical proportions.
Are there going to be any riots ala JoePa?
Look at the % of his salary this jerk has cost Raymel. Like she doesn't have a motive.
What team would dare pick him up now?
Wow.
Interesting though. Causes me to think of some of those evangelist "caught in the act" confessions, such as Jimmy Swaggert.
Oh, those many sincere and contrite tears that are shed!
Thank God I still have Riley Cooper on my FFL team
What team would dare pick him up now?
If Lacy goes down...I'm sure many a dip**** on here would start a thread asking Ted to kick the tires.
if I was rayray's wife right now I'd be taking a vacation to visit my momma until he cools down now that he's unemployed and a pariah. talk about the perfect spark for more abuse...
or is this one of those times I hear about that owning a gun is the right path? I mean, what could go wrong?
How quickly, before team X, picks up the phone to bring him in for a physical? I say two weeks.
What time is the rally/march?

I would hope not, and I'm sure a prolonged suspension would be added to total 6 games (hopefully more).
Regardless, I suspect his season is done.
Still not giving the Ravens any respect. They still look like fools, especially with the public support they displayed for Rice throughout the summer
where is their PR guy to write another love story about how great Rice is
#Ravens Owner Steve Bisciotti shows compassion for Ray Rice, says he'll "definitely" be back. http://t.co/y7me6QdwlJ pic.twitter.com/S4sOt83eCv

I need to hit refresh before posting "breaking" info.

Let's see if I can guess your team name... The Atlantic City Chodes?
This is an aside and unrelated to what Rice did, how heinous it is.
I think being emotionally/mentally abused can hurt white (and other ethnicity) males, even from women.
Definitely not minimizing it. We can all be traumatized, abused and tortured. My point is that as a white male, I don't even consider it when women and other groups have to think about or deal with the aftermath on a regular basis.
I never once worried about not going to a certain place or wearing certain clothes or speaking my mind. I take/took for granted the lack of fear I have in my life and I would do anything to give others that I love what I feel every day. As Louis CK says, "this **** is really good". And no, I have no guilt over it.
Ultimately it's a human issue, not a gender issue.

No they won't. Any person that starts a thread of that crap is getting deleted. & I don't normally delete anything.
Goodell manning up after this video. RR now indefinitely suspended.
Watch in the next few days....probably as soon as tonight Ravens and NFL making financial contributions to Domestic Violence shelters
That is ANYTHING but "manning up"
If by "manning up" you mean being a POS and only doing something because the world has now seen the video he seen saw weeks ago, then I agree with you.
Saw.
And agreed. This isn't manning up. This is covering his ass in what IMHO is a pretty lame manner.
DAMMIT!
"Manning up" would be if he resigned for his handling of this fire drill from day 1.
Watch in the next few days....probably as soon as tonight Ravens and NFL making financial contributions to Domestic Violence shelters
Oh you betcha dude, theres gonna lots of damage control after this, this may lead up to and including Badell either resigning or getting his ass shot out the door which is no skin off my nose!!! This is FAR from being over, trust me on that
If by "manning up" you mean being a POS and only doing something because the world has now seen the video he seen weeks ago, then I agree with you.
He didn't see this video weeks ago. The NFL announced that this morning.
"We requested from law enforcement any and all information about the incident, including the video from inside the elevator. That video was not made available to us and no one in our office has seen it until today."
This world. Spin drives all.
@ByRyanWood: Exactly 13 minutes after @Ravens tweeted Ray Rice news, @NCAA tweeted it has lifted Penn State postseason ban. Holy, PR.
He didn't see this video weeks ago. The NFL announced that this morning.
Oh yes, & I trust that statement implicitly.
DO you have any idea how powerful the NFL actually IS???
What team would dare pick him up now?
I bet Bill Belichick could get away with it, after a sufficient cooling period.
I bet within a day the NFLPA files a grievance with the league saying it "overstepped their authority".
If that happens, then this won't go away anytime soon.
Isn't he abusing his wife? Seems like pretty cut and dried physical abuse really. And you're saying that because he may be prone to violence so she should just leave him alone? So again it's the victims fault because she should know better? You're saying Rice shouldn't have done it, but she should have known that he would do it and should have been smart enough not to set him off?
Not in those terms, no. But an argument that escalates that way usually means that there are anger issues on both sides. She's as responsible for the argument as he is. His actions stand separately from that, I think.
They'll have lots of time to work on their marriage now that he's unemployed...
What team would dare pick him up now?

Just remind them of this quote:
βTo be honest with you, it was just Lambeau Field,β Rice said. βI didnβt see anything special. They put us in the middle of nowhere and itβs not a real exciting place. Everything about the place is terrible, to be honest with you.β
If there's ever been a night to not **** up dinner, it's tonight. And if it is ****ed up she'd better not use "you didn't get me a good enough stove" as an argument. Isn't that right AC?
If by "manning up" you mean being a POS and only doing something because the world has now seen the video he seen weeks ago, then I agree with you.

Then their investigative team is an absolute joke and need to all be fired. If the difference in punishment is either 2 games or suspended indefinitely how could they be so brain dead as to not get the video before TMZ?
I don't buy that a multi-billion dollar enterprise did not have access to the video. They are back peddling, and Goodell and crew continue to look like total buffoons.
manning up after this video. RR now indefinitely suspended.
One should never read internet comments section if one wants to retain any faith in humanity.
bruce_arthur The ravens enable Ray Rice, cover for Ray Rice, excuse Ray Rice, and once the video comes out they cut Ray Rice. Well, bravo guys. 9/8/14, 2:21 PM |
Say the same thing about the league. Way to protect the shield, boys.
Mr. and Mrs. Rice already have a nice little nest egg.
