Will Randy Moss or Chastin West or Tori Gurley or Terrell Owens make an appearance in Green Bay?

--------

I thought T.O. signed with the Bills this past week?

I'd rather see Tyrone Walker or Myles White activated.  they would make more than just a temporary contribution.

Rapoport must've talked to MM to get that nugget.

That song and dance is getting old. I'll believe it isn't a major injury when he's back on the field, and the calendar still says 2013.

Per on The OT, neither injury suffered by the Packers' WRs today (James Jones, Randall Cobb) is expected to be a season-ender.

That's the good news. Bad news is who knows how long either will be out. I assume Cobb's will be the dreaded "multipe weeks" which in MM speak means it can range anywhere from 2-10 weeks

I think these reports are kind of like "The telephone game."

First comment was, "It may not be season-ending."

Second was, "It may be a few weeks."

Wait for enough layers and Cobb will be returning punts in practice Tuesday.

Maybe I'm grasping at straws here, but what I found encouraging about the Cobb injury was that immediately afterward, he was kneeling on that knee - and he seemed to be grasping at the top of his lower leg than the knee itself. I know, it's not much, but when I was watching the way he reacted after the injury, I was a little more optimistic than I was when I first saw the hit. I'm hoping for a major bruise just above the top of the shin pad.

Y'all may now ridicule me at will. I'll just stand here and smile patiently.

Well, if he actually was kneeling on the injured knee, that is a great sign.

Yeah, he was up on all fours, with his weight distributed between both hands and both knees, and kind of rocking back and forth a bit. My first thought was that if his knee is letting him get away with that, it must all be in one piece.'

He needs to stay away from soup for the next few days, though. That will be the key to our season.

"He'll be OK," the source said.

I'm a little skeptical until the MRI results come in, but it is starting to sound like this is not a season ender.

The word is "snippet".

Don't recall a report, but he returned to the game.

tweeted this about 8pm last night.

He seemed fine after the game. Was able to come back and finish the game. RT : what is status of Perry?

I am on board with a 3rd rounder for Gordon.  This kid has some baggage, but can be a difference maker.

They let Cobb back on the sideline so it can't be too awful bad. He was using crutches, but seemed able to put a little weight on his bad leg.

My guess is that he has a bad bruise. He had that initial reaction like it was broken, immediately grabbing it with a lot of pain, but didn't seem to be in too much pain on the sidelines. I think he and Jones will both be back for the Chicago game on November 4th.

I'd be cool with a 5th round pick for the rest of the year with Nicks, regardless of what the MRI's tell us today.  I have a feeling the price will be higher and I can't see Ted going with a 4th.
