The Jones and Cobb timetables are probably best case scenario. I'd expect both to miss more time.

House better get his ass in shape. The head scratcher, for me, is if House was "gassed", wouldn't it make more sense to replace him on ST's versus defense?
MM rules
Tyler Dunne ā@TyDunne 4m
McCarthy on injuries: "It's like anything in life. Are you going to cry about it or look to improve?"
Ian Rapoport ā@RapSheet 42s
On #Packers WR Randall Cobb: Iām told his knee injury could keep him out a month or longer. Not season-ending it looked like. Will take time
there's your IR/designated to return
Perry or Cobb gets the IR to return designation.
Now there's reports that the Packers have signed WR Tavarres King off the Broncos PS
Adam Schefter ā@AdamSchefter 2m
For now, sounds like Packers WR Randall Cobb is expected to miss two weeks.
MM probably said "a couple of weeks" which means forever dum dum Schefter.
What do you expect from a guy who tweeted the question asking if yesterday was the most dramatic day in Boston sports history?
May have misinterpreted what McCarthy just said but it sounded like he is asking the media to talk to the players about their status. That would be a change in protocol, no?
That has been McCarthy's position. Doesn't mean the players will discuss their injuries.
I'm not so worried about Perry missing this week. Weeden will crumble with a minimum amount of pressure and honestly did anyone really predict Perry would be productive vs. Joe Thomas anyway? If Mulumba, Neal, and Palmer can hold containment, which Neal and Mulumba at least seem capable of doing, and the interior can stuff the run then the game will be on Weeden's shoulders to win which means they will get blowed out! If it was Hoyer, who seemed to have the heart and the accuracy, I might be worried, but Weeden is a train wreck.
More worried about Perry's inability to stay on the field.
The same thing was said about Aaron Rodgers and Gerg Jennings early in their careers. Sometimes guys are just unlucky. The important thing is that Perry seems to have the right attitude, that was Bustin Harrell's downfall, pisspoor attitude.
Perry or Cobb gets the IR to return designation.
Perry perhaps. Even though 2 weeks was probably too optimistic you don't want Cobb on that list. The minimum time the player has to sit out is something like 6-8 weeks isn't it?
With the way Lattimore played yesterday, I wonder if they'd consider moving Brad Jones back to OLB while Matthews and Perry are out. Might be asking too much for Jones, but that may be preferrable than playing with 2 rookies with no experience and a guy who just made the shift this year.
On offense, if Cobb is out for about a month, I think TT needs to go beyond the Boykins and practice squad approach. We know what Wolf did when the '96 team lost Brooks, Freeman, and Chmura. Let's see if TT makes a play for a Nicks or Britt or Gordon if they truly are available for a reasonable price.
What position's depth chart will be decimated during the Browns game?
DL's playing really well as a group...seems like they could use a good purging.
Ijust asked Tavarres King if he was going to Green Bay. "How do you know that?" Then he ducked into the bathroom. So, we'll see.
Dom Capers is the funniest coordinator in the NFL I always say.
I'm hearing 4 weeks on Cobb. ~ depending on the severity to Perry's broken foot 6 to 8
I don't think Capers was going for humor, there.
Source said WR James Jones suffered a slight ligament sprain - not a tear - in his knee and has a chance to play this week as McCarthy said.
Ted Thompson is so different from Ron Wolf even though he learned under him. I don't see him giving up any draft picks for a WR no matter who it is. And if there is anotehr team involved in teh bidding we can forget it. He has never won a negotiating battle when another team was involved. He won Charles Woodson because the Bucs did not have the money to compete. I do wish he had a little Wolf in him tho. Sometimes a veteran could make a difference but like MM said today, The Packers are a draft and develop team. It works and it will keep working. Who can argue with their success....
Awful lot of limping around for a "slight ligament sprain."
All in all......based on what looked like season enders for both receivers, I'll take the news happily.
The cynic in me still believes Cobb is done for the year, and Jones is done for a month minimum. I really hope to be wrong, obviously.
Per Ty Dunne:

Green Bay --- Wide receiver Randall Cobb suffered a fractured fibula in Green Bay's 19-17 win over the Baltimore Ravens and will miss 6-8 weeks, a source said Monday.

Truly shocked that the initial prognosis from the team was a tad on the optimistic side.
6-8 weeks is better than season ending, so there's that. If Cobb is ready to go for the playoffs, I'll be thrilled, personally.
Fresh legs?
Somewhere in Shiitsville, MN, Greg Jennings is chuckling.
Really need guys to step up. These next 6-8 games the team will be without Clay, Cobb and perhaps Perry if the broken foot situation is true
Fractured thumb.
Fractured foot.
Fractured fibula.
Do any of these fu***** drink milk?!?!
Lazy bastards aren't stretching their bones enough. The 49ers would.
Pack should sign a few of these guys
wwon't have to worry about any broken bones
It won't happen, but the Nicks to GB trade rumors should start brewing about now. I'm sure Patty's already got the 1st draft of that post written on the innerwebs..
With Nicks injury history and the Packers seemingly being a hotbed for injuries, the moment Nicks puts on the Packers uniform he'd probably spontaneously combust
Well something has to happen at the WR position. You can't play with two WRs, especially when one of them has a last name of Boykin.
I'm betting closer to 4 weeks for Cobb.
Jones will miss 2 weeks.
Perry, not enough info yet.
