Must mean James Jones is out. RT : According to source WR Chris Harper claimed by

This one's interesting. 4th round pick by Seattle in 2013 draft. Seattle released him on final cut. SF snatched him up then waived him yesterday apparently trying to free up space due to DL injuries.

6'1" 230lb guy. 4.5 40....

you can pretty much know MM comments regarding injuries. On Sundays after they happen, his press conference will say they have to do more test and will know more on Monday.

Mondays press conference say we still don't know the extend and won't know until Wednesday.

Wednesdays press conference wont say what the injury is but is hopefull the player gets to practice on Thursday.

Thursday he says that he is hopeful the player gets to participate in practice on Friday.

On Friday He says there is still 48 hours till the game and won't know until game time.

When MM is thru with coaching the guy could probably run for National Office.

maybe the head coaches can play a game of rock-paper scissors to decide who wins the game. Or Chicago can just forfeit....League should reduce the number of games during the season and play a double elimination tournment for the playoffs. The injuries over the past few years have been the worse of all time and I don't see anything that can reduce it other than going to a 7 on 7 contest....

It wouln't have mattered with the Packers this week anyway.  None of the inactives were healthy enough to play.

Detroit Lions wide receiver Ryan Broyles is out for the remainder of the season with a torn Achilles suffered against the Dallas Cowboys and will have surgery Tuesday.

Broyles is out for the third consecutive season with a major injury.

The former second-round draft pick from Oklahoma tore his left anterior cruciate ligament as a senior for the Sooner. He tore his right anterior cruciate ligament last year as a rookie.

Broyles caught eight passes for 85 yards this season.

"If anybody can come back from it, he can," Lions coach Jim Schwartz told reporters.

There was a post in another thread regarding Schnieder and the likelihood he returns to GB after Ted calls it a career.

I'm not sure I'm ok with that until we see how he deals with his roster in 2015 after everyone in Seattle needs to be paid and what the net roster fallout is. What's his long term plan? Seattle has a great 2 year window but I'd like to see how he navigates the cap when Wilson, Sherman, Browner, Thomas, Wagner, Irvin, Lynch, Tate, Avril, Clemmons, Carpenter, Turbin contracts are up for negotiation.

What's the plan? I know GB will contend in 2016. I'm not sure if Seattle will.

I also know this. I'm going to miss Ted and Mike when they're time together comes to an end. They work well together. One guy has a team that scouts and selects them and the other builds a staff to develop them. They think alike. Let's develop our guy's our way. No knee jerk reactions from either of them. And it will be a long time before we see two guy's that understand injuries will eff you up if you don't plan for them and coach kids up to be prepared to step in because of them.

Yep, Ted and Mike are perfect for each other. I hope they win at least one more Lombardi together. They've earned it as far as I'm concerned.
