I've determined you continuing to think I'm a huge Pac 12 guy simply because of my user name or because I picked Oregonis funnier than chicky thinking I was a huge Angels fan because of my user name even though I posted all over the Brewers board.

I attended and have degrees from 2 different Big Ten schools.   BS in Engineering from Illinois and an MBA from Michigan.  I couldn't give a rip about Pac 12 football, other than watching it like any college football game.  And, let's be honest, anything is more interesting to watch than Illinois football.

But, just because I'm a Big Ten guy doesn't make it less funny when the annual DRAFT EVERY BADGER cacophony starts up.

Rip the Pac 12 all day.  Couldn't care less.

That said, if I could do it all over, I would so go to Arizona State.  Weather, girls, easy schooling, girls, great campus, and girls.

Careful CAP,  ASU leads the nation in STDs.  2 of those girls probably have chlamydia

In 2015 we need to do four things:

1 - Find a competent ILB.

2 - Fix red zone play calling.

3 - Replace special teams coach.

4 - Retain Bulaga.

I love Cobb, he is clutch and versitial, but he isn't a top 10 wr outside of GB, NE or Den.  If he demands that kind of money, we role with Abby in the slot and Jordy / Adams out wide.  With our ground game and QB we don't require two game breakers at WR to be a top offense.  We do require an O line for Rodgers.

I get the feeling the Giants are going to make a strong run for Bulaga and drive his price up to something TT won't be willing to invest.  The Giants are absolutely desperate for offensive line help and I'm sure McAdoo will be singing Bulaga's praises to anyone who will listen.

I think the Packers advantage with making a decision on  Bulaga is they know his entire medical history since he's been in the NFL.  Not just what a team can determine from a one time physical, but the details of how he was during his rehab and how his repaired body actually held up this year.

I certainly hope he's back.  He's not just the starting right tackle.  He'd be at LT pretty quick if anything happened to Bak.  Have to figure that increases what GB would be willing to pay.

No draft guru here, but I believe you lose potential compensatory pick(s). You would lose regular draft picks if you sign a restricted free agent. You are correct about Peppers' and Guion's status.

@RobDemovsky: Change in plans for the #Packers today. McCarthy's last presser/assistant coaches postponed due to a personal matter within the staff.

@RobDemovsky: I'm told this is a non-football matter the #Packers are dealing with.

@RobDemovsky: Stop with the coaches-are-getting-fired Tweets. Like I said, this is a non-football, personal (not personnel) matter.

@jasonjwilde: Just spoke with #Packers PR man @JTWahlers. Very serious matter relating to one of the coaches. Completely non-football, non-work related.

Me too!  That game really hurts bad and I mean bad.  That doesn't change the fact that we root for a professional sports team that is the epitome of what a sports team should be.  The Green Bay Packers have more class and tradition than any other team in football and maybe professional sports all together.  That keeps me coming back every year, win or lose.  Go Packers!

One poster, who I called out yesterday, was complaining that he has only witnessed two super bowl wins.  Boo F'n Hoo.  I live in Pennsylvania and am surrounded by Eagle fans.  Imagine being a fan of that catastrophe. I'll be more than happy cheering for the Packers next year.

And looking at next years schedule I foresee 2 Sunday Night games, Dallas and Seattle at Green Bay.  I also see the Packers @ Lions on Thanksgiving Day.  Lions at Packers will be the week 17 game again. Maybe a Monday Night game of Packers @ Cards.  Also Packers will open at Chicago and give John Fox a rude introduction as Bears head coach.

Keep Rodgers healthy, unlike 2013, and 2014.

I think the first game will be at Green Bay, so week 17 is out. I hate Thanksgiving games vs. the Lions. The Packers, who have played more Thanksgiving road games, deserve the third game in Lambeau on Thanksgiving Night,

Under MM with the exception of 2011, MM's teams have began rather slow. This season we went 2-3 and the Boss was claiming season's over.

A single win more and we would hosted these mo fo's at Lambeau. McMarthy has gotta find a way to start fast out of the gate. Way too many lethargic starts to the season

The ex-Badger I think TT would be most likely to draft is not Gordon, but a later pick on Rob Havenstein. He's versatile enough to be a swing lineman with Tretter as a rookie and could probably become a starter in the near future somewhere.

Barclay's just a guy as he lacks athleticism and size, though I have a soft spot for him.

I don't know about that.  If you look at how MM's teams have played in the last quarters of seasons, they're usually peaking around that time.  At least vs. some doldrums earlier in the year.  I think he has a really good sense of where the team is at during the season and how to get it to hit its stride going into the playoffs.  Come out of the gate fast and you risk burning out fast too.  Look at a lot of the teams that go on win streaks out of the gate and then flop in the second half of the schedule.  One more win would have been all we needed to get HFA but really, it was all there in WK16 vs. BUF.

Tuesday Practice Report

One player who struggled was Wisconsin right tackle Rob Havenstein. In the run blocking one-on-ones, Penn State's Deon Barnes shed Havenstein to get in the backfield before Shelton tossed him into the turf with force. In a rematch, Havenstein held Barnes to get a win.

Havenstein did get a win locking up Harvard linebacker Zach Hodges, but he lost a number of pass rushing one-on-ones. Utah defensive end Nate Orchard beat him with a bull rush and Arizona State defensive tackle Marcus Hardison got by him with speed. In the run scrimmage, Havenstein was pushed backward into the backfield by Kentucky defensive end Za'Darius Smith.
