GREEN BAY â€“ Fans who don't wear green and gold will stand out at the Packers' game in Los Angeles this week.

Secondary market ticket broker VividSeats predicted that 70 percent of Dignity Health Sports Park's 30,000 seats will be filled by Packers fans for the 3:25 p.m. Nov. 3 game.

The Packers are 7-1 after defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 31-24 on Sunday. The Los Angeles Chargers, who are 3-5, eked out a 17-16 victory over Chicago on Sunday when the Bears' kicker missed a last-second field goal.

On Monday, ticket prices for the game were higher for at least the fourth consecutive week, coming in at $372 for the average cost of ticket brokers' lowest-priced tickets. That's up from $344 last week and from $312 on Oct. 7.

The price notwithstanding, Green Bay effectively will have its ninth home game of the season Sunday, only in better weather. Pittsburgh fans created a similar situation when the Steelers played  in Los Angeles earlier this year.

VividSeats' Fan Forecast utilizes various data, including proprietary sales information, to project the makeup of the crowd.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Smith is a 6’0â€ģ 190-pound athlete that Dave Toub loves to tinker with. Named to the NFL All-Rookie Team as a kick returner in 2018, Smith had returns of 97, 61, and 51 yards.

In high school, Smith was the Alabama 3A Player of the Year as a quarterback. He played as the scout team quarterback when the Kansas City Chiefs prepared for the Baltimore Ravens’ Lamar Jackson in 2018.

Smith also displayed very good ball skills as a corner in college, with 15 interceptions and 53 passes defended in his career at Central Arkansas. He has tremendous long speed, clocking a 4.30 40-yard dash at the NFL combine last year. He also is an excellent gunner on special teams, so he offers great versatility.

From the link: At 38 years old, Rivers is likely nearing the end of his career. He has a choice: Does the father of nine want to play into his 40s like Brees and Brady, or will he be content after 15 years on the gridiron? A lot of that probably depends on what happens this season, and what kind of future Rivers sees in Los Angeles. For now, the Chargers GM says Rivers won’t be going anywhere after 2019. In fact, he thinks Rivers could play until he is 45.

Kind of uncalled for.  Rivers is a straight up guy. He is not like some guys who always talk about their" baby mommas" as in more than one.

He's a very conservative Catholic who goes to mass often and is quite popular in the area.

Rivers is very active in the San Diego community even with his (very large) family.

He even coaches a flag football team along with Marvin Jones the Lions WR (they both have sons on the team).

I happen to think Rivers is a bit overrated but his teammates have almost all raved about him, he has never been a problem off the field, and he has been loyal to an organization that had no problem screwing over its fan base.

10 years ago. There wasn’t much better than San Diego v Denver with Rivers and Cutler ready to go bare knuckle at midfield every time they played. Those two guys truly hated each other and probably still do to this day.

And I’d have given anything to watch Rivers beat the ever loving shit out of Cutler.

I sure will agree with that,  if there was one guy I disliked it was J. frigging Cutler.  There sure is some good San Diego history here, my favorite  goes back to when NBC still had afternoon games.  Don Coryell, Ernie Zampese, and Joe Gibbs led a group of coaches that completely changed the NFL. Dan Fouts as the pilot of Air Coryell;  John Jefferson,  Kellen Winslow,  Charlie Joiner and  Wes Chandler were his Wingmen.    It's was a special time, a special team.

Al Michaels said Sunday nite  "the Packers go on the road and that’s really just a formality because they take on the Chargers in Carson which I’m guessing is going to be 80% Packers fans. So it’s a road game in name only”.

Pretty low point spread for a game being played in Lambeau West.

I bet there are more Packers fans in LA than there are Chargers fans.
