Question: watched the KC game again last night and have to believe no team going forward will cover Jones with an LB, maybe using a slot corner or safety or even perhaps doubling him.
How will this impact the rest of the Packer attack?

Only so many cover guys to go around.
3WR, TE, RB split out... if you cover the RB with S or slot CB, you give up the middle to the TE, and you likely go man on the 3WR & the TE.
Teams will still try to use a linebacker.... They'll just disguise it. That concept rarely works out well vs. Rodgers

An LB can cover Graham. Not so sure about Lewis or Tonyan (when we get him back).
Amazing
New day, same story. All 52 players on the #Packersâ 53-man roster are healthy and practicing. Matt LaFleur is a damn wizard. pic.twitter.com/HdyuYe7Ok5

Third straight day of practice for Davante Adams. His official designation will come later today, but it looks like he's going to get through the week OK. Now, the question is do they play him Sunday at the Chargers? https://t.co/fLd9Yt4Ug5 pic.twitter.com/IGWeoEq5sC

No one on the exercise equipment today. Every player was on the practice field. https://t.co/rMelefWPbA pic.twitter.com/1ubM7fDd4R

Ummm...well, this might suggest Tae's feelin' better:
Iâve never done this before (surprisingly), so I canât say, but would think this would be difficult to accomplish on a painful big toe. https://t.co/f7tvoJfr47

If the D loads up with DBs to handle all the receiving options, AR checks out to a run vs. a "light box" (DBs vs LBs).

RTFB !! if they go small.
Several of the big pass plays to our RB were on early downs or short yardage ....running downs. Teams have LB for a reason. Packer offense is now multiple. Pack also ran what was essentially a RB screen on one of Jones' Touchdowns. This offense schemes guys open...WR, TE, RB...and if you cover them we will Vitale your ass !!!
This better not be a trap game. Thats my only worry -- otherwise all signs are pointing to our offensive juggernaut scoring big!
If they have to use a DB/Safety to cover Jones, that will result in mismatches elsewhere. Will be fun to watch Whitewater Jesus against his cousin!!
It's not a Trap game.... It's their 2nd game in a row on the road. They're never easy, no matter who you're facing.
I expect an offensive explosion from both teams. Could be a 44-31 game

Like he did v KC when he moved (I think) Lazard over and Jones ran for 4 and the 1st as they were running out the clock.
I'm really digging Lizard as I watched the game. I think there's a place for him in the offense, a trustworthy possession receiver who isn't a deep threat but is reliable and uses his height to his advantage.

So you're betting on the over.

Works for me. Romo is the best.
Any chance the Southern Cal wildfires impact the game at all??? Whether it's the fires themselves or smoke from the fires blowing into the area where the stadium is.
I'd say no
More smog than usual?
I think this is a trap game. Coming off a big road win against a team many thought was a SB contender in a place GB has never done well.
Going now to the little stadium in Culver to play a team with little support, a surprisingly bad record but some very good talent with a good QB.
Easy to be over confident. Easy to get smacked in the face early and get that Oh Oh look going. Chargers are injured and missing some pieces but some pieces are coming back.
And Rivers has absolutely killed the Packers. I his three games starting v. GB in his career he's thrown for 306 yd 3 tds, 385 yds and 4 td and 503 yards and 2 tds. That's almost an average of 400yds 3tds per game.
But he is also 0-3 against the Packers.
Way back in 2011, the Packers played the Chargers on the road in Week 9. @HighRizer22 picked off Philip Rivers and returned it for six.

Eight years later, the two will face off again Sunday.
Does Tramon, now 36, have an encore ready? pic.twitter.com/jwNQokqweF
Packers are the better team and I just don't see a letdown.
Lol âtrap gameâ. What idiot came up with that term? Itâs just not logical in todayâs NFL. If a team beats you, they beat you. The Packers are well aware of the importance of this game. They are well aware they are playing a HOF QB and a good defense. Some fans and media act like a âtrapâ game somehow means a team was blindsided and no idea what they were getting into. Trust me, thatâs not the case here even with a rookie HC
Chargers are going to be thin at interior DL. And donât think for a minute MLF doesnât realize that.
And by the way, what the hell is with all these mono cases popping up?
Chargers injury report -- OUT: DT Cortez Broughton (mono). DOUBTFUL: DT Brandon Mebane (knee), DT Justin Jones (shoulder), SS Roderic Teamer (groin). QUESTIONABLE: WR Geremy Davis (hamstring).

You can stop right there....Domfense vs Pettine's Zeefense. Plus he still lost.
Like I said....expect scoring from both teams

Idiots need to stop tongue darting each other's throats.
In 1984 Daniel LaRusso traveled with his mother from Newark New Jersey to Raseda CA. We know Daniel had some sports chops based on his beach soccer wizardry. We also know Daniel hated LA and missed New Jersey. Itâs a safe ussumption Daniel was a hard core Giants fan. Bill Parcels became the Giants HC the year before Daniel was forced to move to LA after serving as the LB coach for years.
The night Daniel got his ass handed to him by Kobra Kai on Halloween Night (35 years ago yesterday) Mr Miyagi bailed him out.
Afterwards we see Daniel and Mr Miyagi in Mr Miyagis house and Daniel is clearly wearing a Wes Chandler replica San Diego home jersey.
Even if we assume Daniel had his shirt torn to pieces during his Kobra beat down how the fuck does a New Jersey guy that absolutely hates LA agree to put on a Chargers Jersey? How is this not a huge issue? These were the Bill Parcell genesis years in NY. This breaks every sports violation known to humanity.
Ive been carrying this question for 35 years.
Rookie TE Jace Sternberger (IR, ankle) and S Ibraheim Campbell (PUP, knee) both got through their three-week practice window healthy and could play if added to the roster, coach Matt LaFleur said. The Packers have until early next week to make a move on them, although they currently have one open roster spot.
Man, I was at that 2015 game when Rivers threw for 500 yards. That was a Dom Capers signature game.
Soooooo. Z, Gary and Keke were pulled over and Z was cited for possession. Weed.
Good to see they're relaxed.
