There's a very loosely based in reality rumor going around that Tom Brady could be a Charger in 2020.

IF Brady leaves NE then Belichek is retiring. Not sure which is cause and which is effect but I think Bill is getting a little tired. All these roster moves he's making don't make sense for a team with the best record. It seem like an effort to get the best team depth possible for this year to go out on top.

I don't think Rivers retires.  He had one of the best seasons of his career last year and is still playing at a high level.  Plus he'll need tuition money ha.  I could see him re-upping for Lost Angelo, or leaving the litter a la Bert Fevre and go somewhere like Denver.  Get back at the Changers for the stupidest move in NFL history as a bonus.

I saw speculation the other day that he would coach into his 70's. He still loves it that much aside from talking to the media.

10 years ago. There wasn’t much better than San Diego v Denver with Rivers and Cutler ready to go bare knuckle at midfield every time they played. Those two guys truly hated each other and probably still do to this day.

And I’d have given anything to watch Rivers beat the ever loving shit out of Cutler.

I sure will agree with that,  if there was one guy I disliked it was J. frigging Cutler.  There sure is some good San Diego history here, my favorite  goes back to when NBC still had afternoon games.  Don Coryell, Ernie Zampese, and Joe Gibbs led a group of coaches that completely changed the NFL. Dan Fouts as the pilot of Air Coryell;  John Jefferson,  Kellen Winslow,  Charlie Joiner and  Wes Chandler were his Wingmen.    It's was a special time, a special team.

Al Michaels said Sunday nite  "the Packers go on the road and that’s really just a formality because they take on the Chargers in Carson which I’m guessing is going to be 80% Packers fans. So it’s a road game in name only”.

Pretty low point spread for a game being played in Lambeau West.

I bet there are more Packers fans in LA than there are Chargers fans.

Wes Chandler had the most ridiculous catching radius Ive ever seen. Mel Blount v Issac Curtis. Ty Law v Marvin Harrison. Eric Allen v Michael Irvin.

Great matchups that don't come close to Lester Hayes v Wes Chandler. No clutching, touching, grabbing. Just two pro's trying to beat the other. Fuck that was a great few years of football.

How can you hate Cutler...unless he’s the QB for your team of course? He’s the epitome of unintentional comedy.

Davante is back.

Sounds like probably not.  I'm sure he remembers the last time he rushed back from injury.

Head coach Matt LaFleur said the session was a walk-through β€” the players did not wear helmets β€” but he was keeping an eye on his star wideout.

β€œWe were out there for a walk-through but the individual portion I thought he did a nice job,” LaFleur said. β€œWe’ll just see how he progresses throughout the week.”

Later, Adams reiterated that he will not play until he feels totally like himself and is cleared medically to do so.

I like Romo and Collinsworth a lot.  I just wish they all game analysts wouldn't fell the need to talk about every single play in detail.  Some plays can just be 'announced' by the announcer and move on.  These guys (all of them) feel the need to dissect every single play.  Just shut up once and a while and let the game speak for itself.

David Bakhtiari basically let it slip on his radio interview on Tuesday that it will be good to have Davante back β€œthis week”.

it was also reported that Adams was very close to playing in KC. Anything’s possible, but I’d bet he plays this week

Technically he is back β€œthis week.”  At practice.  Without pads.

Saying he hasn’t been medically cleared, doesn’t feel like himself yet, and isn’t doing it until both of those things happen.

And apparently he said it more than once (β€œreiterated”).  That’s a pretty wet blanket if those quotes (in bold above) are accurate.
