Why would any "genuinely good" Viking fan want to know you?

I get out plenty Bong. But Viking fans must be dressing incognito so as not to be identified. I know I would never wear any garb of that totally incompetent franchise if I was a fan. I guess you can't blame them as who wants to walk around and be ridiculed 24/7. That definetely explains the hostility of those that I have met. Wanabe FAns, wanabee franchise, a surly jealous bunch. Keep trying! Maybe one day you can feel the pride of being a fan of a franchise that knows what it takes to be successful.

Sober up, Dipschit. Maybe reading for comprehension and paying attention won't come so hard to you that way.

You know what the common denominator among all those Viking fans who didn't like you was? That's right...it was you.

I've lived and worn my Packer colors/tattoo in Minnesota for 26 years and haven't had an issue with a Viking fan for a very long time. They get a little uppity when their team is up and the Pack is down, but the way to mitigate that is to just be a normal, sober adult around them instead of being a trashtalking choad like you're doing here. Maybe try that some time.

You have convinced me, fandame. All Viking fans ARE nutjobs. As of today, I am no longer a Viking fan. I will pledge my allegiance to the packlers so I can be looked upon as one of the sane ones...... Roll Eyes

At least you'd have a trophy case filled with something other than dust.

lol, funny I have friends that are Bear fans, I have friends that Buc fans and I have friends that are Eagle, Giant, Cowboy and Redskin fans. It is amusing how we can all get along with one another in regard to our favorite football team but throw a Viking fan in there and the party goes to hell quickly. But like I said, there are not enough of them to matter. But it is admirable to see you defending both of them.

Not my experience at all. A lot of my best friends and loved ones cheer as hard for the Vikings as I do for the Packers. And I know plenty of Packer fans who I'd like to push out a window.

Previous poster is correct: If you have never met a Viking fan who you can get along with, I'm afraid that's on you.
Living among them as I do, I have met several good ones, I must admit. However, their nut jobs are real nut jobs. Just by replying to Jaymo et al, I have violated my mantra for all nut job fans: Do Not Engage. I forgot myself there for a little bit...Big Grin

Good question. It wasn't me. That guy was a piece of work.

I have invited several reasonable Viking fans here. (And one somewhat unreasonable one, but my batting average is still up there.)

The good ones peek in, see stuff like Rob posts, and they move on. That's why BPG left. That's why we only get the choads now.
Ahhhhh......what a great day to be a packler fan!!!!

Just got out of a meeting with a client. Couldn't have went any better! It was so enjoyable sitting there, listening to his little presentation, and just knowing that I was a much better human being simply because I was a packler fan! I'm not sure what team he was a fan of, but I didn't even have to ask. I could just tell. He certainly wasn't one of us!

Alright! Gonna throw on my Donald Driver jersey and go shovel the driveway. Hell, I'll probably do the Hawkens' driveway too while I'm at it. Those loser ViQueen fans probably can't even afford a shovel. And I know I can do it all in half the time those losers could do it, cause I'm the best!

Go packlers!
Jaymo signs up for X4 a day after the final game of 2012. Couldn't wait to post at great length on the Vikings upset win over GB in the playoffs. Probably had comment after comment worked up in your head.

No posts leading up to the game, nothing during, nothing immediately following.

Vikings crap the bed in the playoffs and you're nowhere to be seen. So you sit in silence, pissed off with nothing to say. That must have sucked.

Now its March and suddenly you have 38 posts. 37 of them are in the Jennings to MN thread. 1 more about an Onion article about AP re-tearing his ACL in hopes to repeat 2012.

You are a piece of work.

You are spot on, sir!

But in your world, I would have been here after the packlers shat the bed in the playoffs once again, no?

But no more! We are now brothers in the Green and Gold! Best fans in the world!

Go packlers, Go!!!!

I don't wanna work, I wanna bang on the drum all day!!!!

Be sure to bring your walkman. Can't miss the PA Project.

PA is an idiot. There is no bigger homer, but he's an employee of the Vikings, so I can understand. I don't listen to him though. I listen to the non-homer, Dave Sinykin on Sundays! That guy tells it like it is! I'm pretty sure he hasn't predicted a packler loss in five years! LOL.

Of course nothing will ever beat the ultimate insult, Viqueens.......

It's mostly habit. But now that I'm a packler fan, and better than most other people on the planet simply because I cheer for them, I'll try to change my ways.

You have yourself a nice day!

Did anyone hear Jennings on Jim Rome today? He said he was kind of glad it turned out the way it did was because he wanted a fresh start. When Rome pushed him on that, he said (paraphrasing) that the Packers had so much depth that it was hard for anyone to achieve personal goals. In other words, he couldn't get the big numbers he wanted because there was so much team competition. That really surprised me about Greg.

He also said that he didn't feel like the Packers made him a serious offer. No specifics were mentioned, however. Based on that report that said he wanted $15 mil a year, it could be said that no one gave him a serious offer either.
Packler? Confused

I'm still trying to find out why Floridarob is so pissed off all the time. I know plenty of rube MN fans that I would gladly hang out with and plenty of GB fans I'd love to kick in the groin.

Some of our good friends are Vikes fans so there you have it
He said that NE placed a call but that he was already in MN for his visit and it never really went farther than that with the Patriots.

I thought that at some point a discussion between Greg and Brett would take place, turns out there were plenty,
quote:
"We were literally as I got off the plane and coach Musgrave walked up to me, I’m on the phone with Brett. We talked two or three times throughout this process, a lot via text and then on the phone. He shot me straight. I knew if there was one person that would shoot me straight and tell me exactly what I wanted to hear and the things I possibly didn’t want to hear, it’d be Brett. He did that for me. He’s excited, I’m excited, and we’re moving forward."

The quote was in a tweet from Wilde.

and tell me exactly what I wanted to hear

sycophants, not just for breakfast anymore.
well, thanks Chilli. that does it for me. GJ is officially the enemy now. Didn't mind him signing with the queens but sucking it up with bert while you're gladhanding with the queen FO... screw you. enjoy your one ring from the PACKERS... just like brent.
Maybe Greg shouldn't be playing a team sport because it can be hard to get big numbers playing on a team.I think he should join the PBR and get on the back of a bull that will kick his azz harder then any football player, but bull riders don't get big contracts so that isn't going to work.

IMO, GJennings was already getting the Crocshots from the hillbilly when he was banging APeterson at midlfield after the last game of the season.

Hmmm, wonder why GJ's sister went off like she did?

Interesting point about GJ sucking up to the Queens. Before that game, GJ said he hoped AP would get the record in our game against them. I said at the time that it was a diss against our defense; now I see it may have been love for the Queens. Either way, it was just another show that he was gone.
Can almost guarantee that at some point this off-season, one of the Twin Cities local papers will write a story after a jennings interview on how mississippi was like a father-figure to craig when he came in the league.

It takes time but the truth always comes out. Just have to put the story together over a timeframe of a year or 2.

Surprised about Greg but after Favre nothing truly shocks me anymore.
