Uribe problem all season, control.

Uribe is going to be very good (and already is), but he's 23 years old and barely even pitched in the minors before this year.

He's in this situation because the Brewers try to compete with as many minimum salary guys as they could. They wouldn't even extend Boxberger an offer after last season to save about a million dollars.

Counsell has really been doing some things I've disagreed with the last week or so. Even before the season ended he rested guys so much they were rusty. Williams hardly pitched the last 2 weeks.

Bringing Uribe in there was high risk to say the least. That's a pretty big stage for a kid with hardly any big league experience. Counsell will have some questions to answer after these two games.

That DP might have saved the season.  We’ll see.

The Brewers have played 8 playoff games since the 2018 NLCS against the Dodgers.

They've scored 3, 2, 0, 2, 0, 0, 4, and 3 runs in those games.

They would have to score 6 to win tonight.

To paraphrase Rick Pitino when he was briefly the Celtics coach, "Paul Molitor, Robin Yount, and Cecil Cooper are not walking through that clubhouse door anytime soon."
