At least Turang had a productive out. 9 pitches and clubbed the catcher. As the announcer said it was his own fault as he slid into the swing path.
So far so good. Brewers need to keep playing small ball, and working Gallen’s pitch count. Up to 42 already and the second inning is still going.

A couple poor ABs there. Taylor is such a free swinger the thought of running up the pitch count doesn't register. Taylor and Yelich really bailed Gallen out. Let's hope he can't do a reset and find his groove.

Why do batters chase balls low and away but take pitches in the strike zone?
This game has the same feeling as last night. Squandered opportunities and now Gallen has settled in saving their bullpen. The goal was to get Gallen out in 4-5 innings and drain their bullpen even more so they are gassed for tomorrow.
